all that hot seat crap is usually sturred up by the media, coughlin is old school and on top of that is mutually respected by his players.....

rex is to much of a player friendly coach and they usually dont last long in the league.....

Stole my answer....In a perfect word Tom Coughlin shouldnt go nowhere. If they were the Pittsburg Giants and not the New York Giants, he'd be safe.

Look at how long Bill Cowher took to win a title. He was NEVER on the hot seat, and Coughlin's teams are just as succesful as Cowher's

I've never seen a coach as classless as Rex Ryan. You can count on 1 or 2 hands how many coaches, in all of recent sports, that step outside of the normal coach decorum.

Over-hype your opponent, downgrade your own team, deflect praise, etc. ALL coaches, in EVERY sport, do this!

Ok first of all. The jets ain't even a elite talent in the NFL, lets be honest here this team is highly overrated. Their defense is ok and their offense is ok, who they got on offense? Dustin Keller and Santonio holmes is not a number one wideout and Shonn Greene is buttcheeks....come on now...sick of this east coast biased this team needs a overhaul

I have to disagree w/ this. Santonio is a #1 in my eyes, but a wideout is only as good as his QB. I'm not saying dude is great or none of that, but dude is a play maker (dude made one of the best catches I've ever seen in the biggest moment when it counted the most). If Mike Wallace (who I think will be great) didn't work out in Pittsburgh, people would be talkin' bout we shouldn't have gotten rid of Tone.

Keller is a decent TE nothing major, but he's definitely more than serviceable. Shonn Greene tho is exactly what u said he is, lol. That nikka has no real vision and no footwork. Another reason this team has fallen off a lil (besides the non progression of Sanchez) is the loss of Ellis, Jenkins, Woody. They got a lil' long in the tooth, but when they were there (which was just last year) both lines were a lot better than u see now.
