the NBA is more of a product of 2nd gen stars. with a father who played overseas or in the NBA. this has nothing to do with skin tone and everything to do with AAU making top talent too lazy to work harder to get to an NBA level.

This in turn makes hungry sons of NBA players who were average fight to be stars in the game. They grew up seeing what it truly took to get to the league so they work harder and make it. Kobe and steph are examples of it. Sure many of them are lightskinned but some are dark skinned like Kyrie.

once upon a time, lightskinism was rare in the NBA. Kenny Walker was like the first. Then John Starks and lil muslim dude from the nuggets with tourettes. dont feel like looking up chris jackson's name. It took a while before the lightskins were really runnin it and with nigga skillz. And i can talk like this. I am a fellow lightskinder.

You somewhat right, but why were the lightskin kids working harder ? Cuz the black niggas like Xavier McDaniel n Robert parish, was running shit, and

With gentrification , basketball is being taken out the hood , n moved to the suburbs where the ex basketball players and their white wives n kids live....
