Samoa Joe is still very over with the hardcore fanbase btw. He needs a legit well thought out run again at the title now, and not later.

What I'd like to see is AJ win the title at BFG and given a dominant reign for a few months. Then Samoa Joe getting dominant within the X Division once again. Leading to Joe becoming X division champ sometime next spring and cashing the title in for a championship shot against AJ at Destination X next summer with Joe winning the prize. Joe Vs. the new AJ Styles could put a whole different dynamic on that old feud for real.

damn man, i gotta catch up, nba playoffs made me forget about anything else on thursdays last couple weeks
I never liked the BFG series because point systems get confusing and then they used to do mom-televised BFG series matches. I hate that shit, I hate 90% of TNA's gimmicks. I guess it's my biases. I believe AJ is going to win and his new character will get vindication. Oh and not having Crimson in there is lame as hell, James Storm not being in there is equally lame. Fuck Frankie Kazarian and "Joseph Park".
As far as the new Main Event Mafia, well I didnt care for the old one. I think it's time for Sting & Angle to move on, let some young guys take them down. Besides it doesn't make sense because anyone who joins already guilty of leaving Sting hanging. If they use the new MEM to give rubs that would be dope.
I think it's a waste that they spent all that time on Angle giving runs to Briscoe just to chuck Wes into irrelevancy within Aces & 8s, I expected him to be a breakout star but *shrugs*.

There was so much wrong with this episode I don't know where to begin. I'll stick with the most obvious transgression of Suicide being "outed": I can't believe they did that.
I did like the A&8s threatening Sabin, but of course they went and made that useless with the title change.
For all the kids keeping score:
Petey Williams return - wasted
Chris Sabin return - wasted
Suicide return - wasted
And what do we have for it? Nothing.
The swerve at the end was cool enough and I was taken by surprise but it brings confusion with Aries being in the BFGS and skipping the entire process.

Yeah basically derailing a goddamn useless video game character who everybody knew the identity of all the time in favor of giving TJ Perkins himself some shine was a really bad idea. Not.
Petey Williams = boring outside of in ring skills, Chris Sabin = boring outside of in ring skills, Austin Aries = money as an overall enteratainer. It's as simple as that.
I prefer Aries winning at Destination X and facing AJ Styles at BFG over the predictable scenario of AJ Styles beating Bully Ray at BFG. Much better main event draw.

I don't have an issue with Suicide being killed, I have an issue win how it was done. Unmasking characters should be more dramatic and meaningful. This also doesn't put Perkins over because he looks like a chump right out the gate.

Everybody = fans of TNA aka the only people that watch Impact Wrestling. Suicide's identity was as big a secret as Curry Man's (SPOILER the guy behind Curry Man also played Suicide a few times too). It's a novelty character adapted from a damn video game we're not talking about Mil Mascaras here. It puts TJ Perkins over because now he'll be used on the roster with his actual identity.
Petey Williams has been back full time for 2 MONTHS and storyline wise there is no use for him right now. Sabin has been back for less than 2 months and ALREADY has been champion once more since his return. How about we see what they do with them going forward before jumping to these conclusions. So far they have been used adequately.
You want to talk about shitty moments in this episode? how about we talk about how Gut Check needs to be given the axe already because most qualifying matches are boring and filled with green in ring work. Skidmarks from Tough Enough Vs. a Batista wannabe was no exception. Threw the momentum of the episode off for the few minutes it was actually on. Or how about that Storm/Gunner segment with Robbie E and Big Brother guy used to set up an unexciting tag team feud?
Those were far greater offenses than an entertaining story built around the X division and used to put the one main eventer people have been bitching about no longer being in the main event back INTO the main event.
