sometimes i stress like, what is im doin wrong to not make beats as fast lol. i gotta keep reminding my self these vids could be edited tho, and they not mixing or sequencing necessarily, just puttin the sounds down. i like taking my time and searchin for the right drum or synth, but these vids be cool as hell tho

all them sounds, shit i thought I used too many sounds lol, guess it just depends how u mix em

used to fee the same way. I try to make sure that each sound I use serves a real purpose and is not just being thrown in for filler because I can't get the exact sound I want. I find that when I hit that creative wall I'll start throwing in a lot of extra shit to try to get the feel I want when it'll just be that one little melody that I need to find to get my shit on point.

prolly somewhere in 3-5 would be my avg. been tryna make the music sound i guess bigger than the actual amount of sounds i use lately, ion kno if ive ever gon over 7 or 8 not including drums/percussion, but lookin at that video they had to use bout 10 sounds lol

So IC producers, what shit y'all using? I'm tryna get ahold of a maschine before I head to college in the fall

Str8 FL lol

one of my latest creations

That's pretty dope

I use FL well used to, I'm slowly getting back into that production game

You can do a lot with that program if you know what you're doing and learn it. I think 9th Wonder uses it and I feel like Beamer Benz or Bentley is an example of FL creation goin dope

and nah i didnt learn music theory or nothing i wish i did, i just feel like i have a sense of melody. but i still check youtube tutorials, actually i just started doin that last year, check busy works beats tv tutorials, they're good. and study the intricacies of your favorite beats n shit. dont be afraid to take the inspiration u get from other producers and make beats, eventually ull make it ur own if u stay on it imo.
