yeah thats it and Anita Baker and it doesn't have any of those classic west coast elements you mentioned, but it def has a west coast vibe to me. This shit makes me envision old school cars and hydraulics lol

Join a producers forum that focuses on production like futureproducers, gearslutz, FL forums etc etc.. They got beginners sections where folks would help you out. Read the manual and hop on YouTube for tutorials bruh.
