Some eerie typa shit, but I liked it! How I like my music tbh. I don't make beats, but those 2 spots where the beat changes up got sort of higher in the loudness or something?? Not sure how to describe it

Thanks man honestly a lot of my beats have that more left field expereimental type vibe. And in that part you're talking about I took another piece of the sample and pitch shifted it. I posted an Asap typa beat a little earlier in the thread, let me know what you think about it.

yo how do leases, exclusive and non-exclusives work?

lease means you still retain full rights to the beat and are just leasing the right to use it. Leases can go to how ever many people pay for it, but they're cheaper than exclusives because of what i just stated. Exclusives means that the person is buying the right to exclusively use the track, only one sell. An example of pricing at an underground level is like $50 lease, $200 exclusive. I've let a few go for $150. If you're trying to move official official though there's a lot more technical shit that I really don't know myself dealing with contracts and all that.

I don't mind it! Nice. What do you use when making these beats?

A while back now I thought to try it out, but again no experience in making beats, and came across BTV Solo, and had no idea what to do lol

I think that track played out alot smoother than the "gaudy stylez" one ... I am sure when I looked at the page before the track links you dropped were other way round?? lol

had like a bass guitar thing going on huh?

Alright this quote kinda confusing. So you saying nice to the 'cant hold the torch' or 'gaudy stylzz'? You prefer the first over the second?

And I use FL Studio and I got an Akai mini that I'm trying to get acclimated with too. This my first time hearing of btv solo.

@G.Avante YEah I think pass the torch over gaudy stylez only as it seemed to be in my ear run alot smoother from beginning to end. But they both so different that liked thm both

Not sure what was up with the "quote" thing, as I'd hit it and was switching up the links

Question for beatmakers and producers: With all of these multi-layered, technical, southern bass heavy 808 beats, are the instruments or patterns being played, or are the melodies preprogrammed?

do you mean are the melodies (synth, brass etc) copied and pasted?

some times but usually not, usually those types of beats are programmed through VSTs on Fl Studios
