I just watched sandy wexler on netflix the adam Sandler film. I was pleasantly surprised by it lot funnier than I thought.
Sandler plays a manager for artists who is out of a job but finds Jennifer Hudson character and starts to manage her career. I'd give it a 7/10 off first watch.

Just finish watching it .... Not sure how they will build off of this in the Universal "Dark Universe" ...right now tho, he literally the wildcard.
Yes, I see the lil easter eggs that hinted at the others iconic Universal monsters that will appear but something felt missing -- the landscape should had been in Egypt and should had hold off with Jekyll ..... should had use Dr. Jekyll as collateral damage from the havoc either Drac (since that story is heavily London-based in the novel)....
I'll give it a 5 out of 10. It's does somewhat a okay job with the worldbuilding but characters are somewhat bland in this. Crowe was actually the most intimidating and intense of them in the movie, rightfully cast as Hyle.
Also, I wonder if the "original" Mummy will end up evolving into the "Creature" from the Black Lagoon..her sarcophagus seems to resemble the iconic "creature" face...

Episode 1 & 2 of the revamped show on Sky Atlantic yesterday with some Buddha...
David Lynch be on some other shit... he's the king of cinematic weirdness.
I think it's 8 episodes in full. If you like abstract weirdness on TV... highly recommended. Funny in some parts too

Everything ive seen from him outside of that was horrible. Especially that bullshit stand up he did as the tranny or w/e the fuck it was.

The latest season of wentworth on netflix. Idk who else watched it i know @Kai and I think @MissK did. I said I wouldn't watch this shit ever again based on how last season ended lol...I'll save the spoilers just in case....I was scrolling through my list over the weekend and just said fuck it.
Season was good. Same energy they give you every season - the over the top shocking shit that comes outa nowhere...sometimes it hits sometimes it doesn't. But the finale was some crazy shit. Very fitting ending. It was worth the watch even tho I'm still tight about last season lol.

Wentworth is an Australian show right? I can hardly understand British shows sometimes due to the accents and the slang and way the talk, but australian/new Zealand shows I understand a bit better haha.
