Co-sign basically ruined that girl's life even if she is free now. That Italian investigator was a blowhard...so damn annoying and hateable.

Movie about Alan Turing, the mathematician who broke the German enigma code during WWII. Kinda gave off that beautiful mind feel with brilliant scientists being recruited to work in the war. Turing was also gay, but it didn't really come into play til the end. Good movie. 4/5

Kicks is about a little nigga tryna do it big but ain't fly enough to stunt. He comes across some legendary sneakers which ups his game. He unsurprisingly gets jacked. Theverything movie follows his journey to get them back.

I give it a B+. Shooting style reminded me of Spring Breakers but the story was more grounded in reality (slightly). It's not as heavy handed with a message as the premise might lead some to think, which is a plus. I'm just made there was only a limited release so I couldn't see it in theaters.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows

7/10 or B-

Fun movie.

The villains weren't much but the fight scene with Krang was nice. I didn't like Krang being the big bad though. It was like Dark Knight Rises, in a way where you put so much emphasis on one villain only for another to take over near the end. I hate that.

They went with a human Shredder which is a 100% improvement over the Transformer Shredder in the first one. I even enjoyed Tyler Perry's involvement though he seemed like an evil Neil DeGrasse Tyson (which is probably why I liked it.)

Bebop & Rocksteady being buffoons is consistent with the Bebop & Rocksteady I grew up with but it would have been nice for them to actually be a more menacing threat as they existed for the purpose of beating the turtles. That said, they only had one or two confrontations during the whole movie so that wasn't good at all.

When it came to the usual group conflict in the Turtles: it came across a little forced.

It's a little odd that Donnie, Mikey and Raph would want to be human. Mikey I understand, they put effort into showing that he wants to walk the surface and for Raph it was about honesty and teamwork but you can't have a turtles story without Raph going rogue so it was cool.

All told its a fun film. The turtles are still massive and bulky and there is still too much screen time for April but overrall it was alright.

Captain America: Civil War

9/10 or A

Excellent movie. Probably the best superhero movie made.

Marvel does a good job of using the many moving pieces in the story to their fullest potential. It's very easy to forget a character or to use someone as filler but all the characters had a purpose.

The politics:

I was concerned about how they would recreate the comic using the pieces they have and they did it in an awesome fashion. One catastrophe after another leads to governments trying to reign in the Avengers. Its simple..

Crossbones was awesome. I wish he had a larger role but what he did was great.

The tension between Cap & Tony was handled well and it didn't come off forced. Despite Zemo's appearance in the film the antagonist of the movie is Iron Man.

Tony made the threats, he pushed and pushed with his bad attitude (during this film not taking into account their beef's build in other movies), using Vision to isolate Scarlet Witch among other actions push you to the point where it leads you to believe that the only way for this to go is to a fight.

The bromance between Cap and Winter Soldier was handled good too. It really drives home Cap's beliefs and standing on the side of what he thinks is right.

The action was top notch. Cap movies always have the best fight scenes. The airport battle is probably the best fight I've seen in a movie in years...maybe ever. The final battle was off the chain too and made both Cap and Tony look like bosses.

The additions:

Bozeman killed Black Panther. I don't even like BP as a character but his T'Challa is exceptional.

Paul Rudd is someone I don't care for but I think he's been an awesome Ant-Man and he was good here too. One of my favorite cameos as well.

Black Widow reemerged as a dope force for the Avengers and came back strong after being underutilized in Age of Ultron. Her switching sides was predictable but sometimes predictability is good. ScarJo has owned this role.

Hawkeye is dope too. I like the character and how Jeremy Renner has been playing him. I would like for Kate Bisbop (Girl Hawkeye) to step up if they insist on doing the retirement thing.

Anthony Mackie making Falcon dope. I have really enjoyed his portrayal of the character as I don't like Falcon as a character either. I do wonder if Falcon Cap is coming.

Vision was cool. Whoever plays him does a good job. Im glad he seems sort of human and not like Data from Star Trek which I feared would come after the Avengers.

Scarlet Witch was a little meek but understandable why she would be that way. I'm not entirely in love with the actress but she's been passable.

Don Cheatle. Is dope period. That nigga can do no wrong in my eyes so of course he was good.

Spidey steals the show, I have no idea who the kid playing him is but the kid embodies talkative teen Spidey. McGuire has been my favorite Spidey so far but this kid has a chance to surpass him.

Its an all around great movie. Its way too ambitious of a project because they had so many characters and storylines to cover but they did great on the three stories they dedicated most time too (Cap vs Tony, Cap + Bucky and T'Challa's revenge). A success.

I just watched "haters, back off" on netflix. It's a new original starring some youtube character, stevie from eastbound and down, and Angela from the office. It's about a talentless girl who wants to he a star and her crazy family tries supporting her. This show was so goddamn stupid but funny at the same time. I couldn't stop watching it. Steve little was fucking hilarious. Kinda has a napoleon dynamite style. Pretty dry and rediculous bUT I got some good laughs
