I got the Breaking Bad box set for Xmas & I've been watching the series again. .just appreciating how great the show was the last 3 seasons...amazing seasoning 4 is my favorite

Breaking Bad is one of the few shows ive seen that progressively got better and better each season imo. Started out great but got greater haha. Always had me at the edge of my seat when i caught up and had to watch the episodes weekly.

No Escape 9/10

Owen Wilson is an expat that travels to a Cambodian like country with his family. While he's there there's a coup and rebels start executing foreigners on site. It's a tense movie with him trying to escape the country with his family. I won't lie I was on the edge of my seat until the very end suspense was at all time high throughout the movie. Didn't think I'd take Owen Wilson serious in an action movie but he definitely did his thing.

He was in Behind Enemy Lines in the early 2000s which is a decent flick and worth a watch.

This movie is not with out its flaws. But a great watch imo. Really deals with the post 08 mortgage crisis. Every day ppl getting evicted, ppl living above their means, debt, big banks etc. etc.

Movie is worth seeing jus to see Michael Shannon do his thing. Dude kills his fuckin role.

You know, i know this aint the place for this or whatever, but i just saw that sheiners hospital commercial for like the 5th time and even though i consider myself somewhat cold about a lot of shit, i almost cry like a bitch each time i see it.

Either god doesnt exist whatsoever as i believe or he/she/it is the biggest piece of shit bar none for allowing kids, fucking kids breh, to suffer like that and have to go through life with a fucking guillotine over their heads.

Them kids are way tougher than i could ever hope to be

Did yall know there are two versions of Straight Outta Compton? One is 2h46 while the other is like 2h20 - something. The former is with a bunch of little things that were cut out, but do add more context to certain scenes. If you can find it, definitely watch again.

Is the longer one the directors cut?

The Bridge (Broen) -Danish/Swedish Cop thriller (Season 1 and 2)

Absolutely amazing show. Original and rivetting plot line, great chemistry among lead cast , build up steady and rewarding. Am gonna get started on Season 3 tonight.

I always wanted to get in to that, saw that FX cancelled it.

Watched a lot of movies lately, gonna do a quick critique.

Vacation-Funny movie, the whole cast was good. Norman Reedus was funny as fuck. Oh yea I was glad to see Regina Hall.

Pay the Ghost- Nick Cage movie, he's a professor at a university. One Halloween his son disappeared and after more research turns out a lot of kids go missing on Halloween. Cage has to go to another realm to go get him. It's not bad.

Train wreck-Not crazy about Amy Schumer, but she was funny. Colin Quinn was good in the father role. Lebron stole the movie every scene he was in. Didn't expect him to be in that many scenes. The scene him and Hader was having lunch was the funniest.

Man from Uncle-Thought this was gonna be hard to follow story wise, but it wasn't too complex. Henry Caville and Armie Hammer did they thing. Had a good mix of comedy. And I want to see oh girl in more movies, she's dope.

Get involved bruh.

Rush - Motorsport drama about the real life rivalry between Austrian and British Formula 1 drivers; Niki Lauda and James Hunt. Technically sound.

Mike Epps: Under Rated & Never Faded - Stand up of his in Detroit in 2009 following the financial recession on the previous year. Was aight. Dude is outlandish. However was cool of him meeting people on the streets out in the D before his show..

Addicted - where Sharon Ann Leal's (a fine Black actress in her right) character gets her freak on screwing different men whilst married with kids gets inevitably caught out and repents. Caught it on Netflix 'cos I was bored..

Amy - documentary chronicling the humble rise and magnificent fall of Soul and Jazz singer Amy Winehouse. She joins a host of other personally troubled musicians who are also hugely talented. She was a huge HipHop head; friends to Salaam Remi, NaS, ?uestlove, yasiin bey and others.

Babylon - released in 1980 and tells the story of West Indian yutes in London who have to deal with racial prejudice on the streets with the law and residents. The soundtrack was a highlight

Muppets From Space - released in 1999.

Snow on tha bluff...honestly with everything going on it just made me sad. If i saw this when i was in hs i woulda found it entertaining, but now nah...fucked up the cycle of violence and horrible child rearing they live in.

man i really fel off my movie watching lately.. but i'll step it up. only thing i saw recently (for my fellow documentary lovers).. A year on the Ice

i enjoyed this. dude documents a entire year in Antarctica (dude who made says it took him a decade to do) the visuals were awesome and Antarctica is one of the few places left on Earth that man has not fucked up yet.. and to SEE how crazy the weather gets there in the winter.. definitely recommend

What Doesn't Kill You (2008) starring Ethan Hawke, was browsing Netflix and randomly clicked on this, glad I did now this shit is really good, tells the story of 2 low level criminals who have grown up together, great acting and it kept my attention all the way through, I highly recommend this one and give it a solid 9/10.
