I can only get boo dock saints 2 on Netflix and I'm not in the mood to search google right now. Can I jump straight into 2 or is it advisable to watch the first one first?

The first one sets up the premise for the 2nd one 8 yrs later. I saw the 2nd one first as well.

Nice one brother

Oh and dope is a cool flick....throughout I found myself thinking it was lacking a lil something but when I seen pharell and puffy had a hand in the overall production it made sense... Solid film 7/10 for me

For those that have seen both I raise this question:

"Dope" or "the wackness"?

(As in the films)

The Wackness...This movie stayed on course and didn't seem all over the place like Dope. The message was clear that sometimes the solution to our problems that we deal with emotionally are simple and life goes on even when our hearts are broken as long as we can appreciate some of the heartaches in life as a overall experience that was worth going through. I'll admit its a lil slow and the momentum is the exact opposite of Dope but I enjoyed it's subtly for the most part.

I liked the first half of Dope but the 2nd half went downhill imo. It got silly, lost suspense, and became more of "ay look were cool now".I mean I get it cause that's how social media can work in your favor,I just wasn't feeling how the movie went into a sort of Project X/Social Network direction. Theyre rock band's pop like sound didn't reflect the 80's/90's hiphop they were fascinated with which seemed contradictory. It would of made sense if they were more Rage Against the Machine and less Green Day. And some of the nostalgia was forced like using a walkman instead of a ipod which he could afford since he wore Jordans. The ending left me confuse as far as his ties with asap and wasn't to clear what the overall message was, I guess it was open for interpretation. The little monologue in the end was okay but wasn't too impress by it...

pretty much sums up my thoughts on both films

i love the wackness though...one of my personal favourites.... probably cus the soundtrack was so dope, wasnt expecting jake or josh (dont know which one he was) to put in such a good performance contrasting to his work on the nickelodeon show (has he been in much since?) and the girl he was banging was niiiiiiiiiice... i like those kinda white gurls.... negative points for tical's jafaikan accent tho

went into this thinking it would be a straight up supernatural horror but i found myself laughing at various points throughout (not taking it entirely serious), turns out the comedy is entirely intentional.some chick ends up on house arrest in the place she grew up in where strange things start happening...i liked the fact a lot of the mystery gets cleared up early on in the film which allows it to go in a few different directions (which don't all entirely work) but this was thoroughly entertaining to me.

Agree with what the people said above, the message kind of got lost in the third act but i still thought it was a borderline great film.quality soundtrack as well.

Chanel Iman...oh my...

No-mercy-for-the-rude.gif

Korean flick about a mute assassin/hitman who does what he does so he can save up for a operation to regain his voice.decent film, certainly not one of the top tier productions (since korea churns these kind of films out like no one else) but worth a look if you can find it.

Watched this on a lazy sunday, ultra violent and nostalgia filled (clearly made for 90's babies like myself) it isnt great by any means due to the lack of polish throughout but its a movie out to entertain which it did well enough.Michael Ironside was having a blast by the look of things.biggest twist of the movie was the fact he didn't lose any limbs.

my copy fucked up 20 mins from the end so i'll reserve final judgement till then.A bunch of teens celebrating a camp classic horror film (in the vein of friday the 13th) cut through the screen when a fire breaks out in the theater and end up in the movie it self (which aside from the obvious really doesn't make any sense if you think hard about it) watched it for talent which includes the main guy from silicon valley, adam from workaholics and malin ackerman amongst others.

riveting.one of those documentaries that's elevated because it captures the exact moment in time where the shit hits the fan.

Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) starring Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey, & Alec Baldwin. It's about four real estate salesman who find out that at the end of the month only the top two salesmen will be retained and the other two will be fired. After this three of them complain about how they are only getting dead end "leads" to customers while the office manager is basically holding the good "leads" hostage. The next morning the office is burglarized and all the good "leads" and contracts have been stolen with the police investigating who did it. The movie is mainly known for Alec Baldwin's epic verbally abusive rant/pep talk at the beginning but that is the only part he is actually in the movie (his character doesn't appear in the original play at all). Nice movie even if some might find it slow and boring. 7/10.

Finally watched creep all the way thru ...the title fits the over all feel very well ..dude was completely off his rocker 7/10

The long walk home starring Whoopi Goldberg and sissy specek ....set in the 50s Whoopi plays a maid who works for sissy's family Whoopi and other African Americans decide to boycott the bus system ..from there it show the challenges Whoopi and sissy's characters face as they weave thru the situation 9/10

Swat starring Sam Jackson Colin Farrell and ll cool j

A high priority inmate offers 100mil to any one who can break him out of prison from there things get tough for swat as they have to fend off every criminal in the city who takes the inmate up on his offer 8/10

Fun fact... Paul walker was was signed on to do swat but turned it down when 2 fast was green lit ..Colin was second choice

Just saw the visit.

Some good scares in there but I'm Not really sure what I just watched.

Could be for one of two(or a combination of both) reasons.

1)it was a m. Night shyamalm film...enough said orrrrrr

2) I went with this chick that would not stop fucking talking throughout the film... Lucky for her the cinema was empty cus had it been full I know someone would have told her backside to shut the fuck up...she woulda looked to me to defend her but all she woulda got from me woulda been the Kanye shrug followed swiftly by " well they do have a point"...in hope she would have stormed out so I could enjoy the fucking film in peace

"The Devil Within" it's on Hulu, it's a Hong Kong movie, shit all the way crazy

Yo hassan, you upgrade your hulu to the ad free version? Heard it adds full seasons of shows too, since some shows like arrow and flash and others will usually only have 6 episodes of the recent season on at a time. I'm interested in trying it out cuz the ads are repetitive as fuck but I already got the showtime add on and that makes it 11 bucks already

Yakuza apocalypse

The shit is weird as fuck. I mean really weird. Like the director must've been tripping on acid. I dunno what the fuck I just watched. The nigga was fighting a puppet frog. Like a nigga in a frog costume.. A fucking puppet frog. There's a nigga with a fake beak prancing around. Man, my mind is totally fucked from this movie. It wasn't good.

Still watching American Horror Story: Freak Show and these folks are sick and fuckin weird......... I can't stop watching though..... Who the fuck comes up with this shit???? Great show
