Boogie Nights is now on netflix

That scene where they go to buy/rob the drug dealer is one of my favorite movie scenes ever the look on Dirks face it was really hitting him how far he fell off. And the firecrackers makes the whole thing tense as hell

Everest (2015) was better than I expected for what it was ...could've devoted more time developing the main characters though ...otherwise the visuals were dope... And enjoyed the cast

Mississippi Damned (2006?)...stumbled upon it on netflix... It was about a young blk girl and her family living in poverty ...the story takes place over the course of 10-15 years ...it deals with issues such as acholism and pedophilia... Casting and acting was dope... Didn't like how there was hardly any redeemable blk male characters in the film though

Watched Dragon's Blade, a Daniel Lee Shanghai film production with the lords Adrien Brody, Jackie Chan and John Cusack amongst others. Its a fictional story about the Roman Empire facing of with the kingdoms bordering the Silk road.

Brody plays a villain Roman General, Cusack a General on exile and Jackie Chan reps the Silk road protection squad, a nuetral unit making sure the silk road is peaceful cause the Huns, Indians etc got disputes..

I like how they showed diversity among the nations and had everyone speak in their native tonque, except for the Romans though, they speak English which kinda messed up the immersion...

Outside Brody, the acting was b movie lvl but the combat(cusack vs Chan was the shit) was awesome, just like the scenery...story was decent but the ending was kinda weak...

still recommend it for those that follow Chinese films, never thought Id see Brody, Cusack and Jackie amongst others in a Chinese produced movie.
