Hidden. It stars Alexander Skarsgard as a father and husband who has kept his family together 301 days after a virus breakout that changes people into violent monsters. During the melee the family finds a fallout shelter where they survive while hiding from the 'breathers'.Movie is slow. But the twist at the end is dope. It's really not engagin as far as the characters go and I hated the daughters character. I give it a 3/5. Decent replay value.

Definitely Cohen. Singleton sucks and his scripts are unintentionally funny.

Manhunter_michael_mann_film_poster.jpg

Manhunter -- If you liked Silence of the Lambs then you're going to like Manhunter. How this gem never gets spoken on is beyond me especially considering it's status as a cult classic. What's also dope is that it's used in both film schools and crime investigation classes to illustrate the effects of art/music in movies to set tonality and also the effort that goes into CSI investigations. Basically the movie is about a tracker who is suddenly called out of retirement to track a serial killer dubbed the "Tooth Fairy". The agent in the film however, has to use an unlikely ally to find him - Hannibal Lecktor, who previously maimed him and almost killed him. The movie is very stylish, very good use of music, pacing and colors. It's a terrific movie and very well shot, would recommend it. You should watch Silence of the Lambs first tho before watching this one.

I rate it 8.2/10 , Rotten Tomatoes gave it 94% as do other outlets.

Zombie.jpg

Zombii (Zombi 2) -- This movie was directed by the legendary Lucio Fulci. Great movie and one of the best in the zombie series. If you love zombie movies watch this one. This shit is just craaaazy. Sooo basically a young reporter sets out to go find her father after her father's boat his found off the coast of NYC. They find bodies but her father's is not among them. She later sets out with friends and meets some people on the way who help her reach a tiny island off the coast where it is said voodoo is making the dead rise. It gets a lot more interesting than that, no one really knows wtf is happening but the dead do rise after they die. This shit is just one long mind-trip LOLOL. The score is just gorgeous, I loved this movie, the ending was just epic af, almost like something out of video game. It was suppose to be a sequel to Romero's Night of the Living Dead. If they do another zombie show they need to set that shit on an island cuz got dayum...... The film was shot in Santo Domingo btw.

I rate it a solid 8.4/10 - the ending was just bananas.....

The Score for the film btw, composed by the legendary Fabio Frizzi, couldnt stop playing this the first time

firestarter-movie-poster-1984-1020192887.jpg

Firestarter -- this movie was adapted from the Stephen King novel of the same title. It features a 7 year old Drew Barrymore. Essentially a young girl and her father are being pursued by a private agency called "The Shop". Prior to Barrymore's character being born her mother and father volunteered for a test project that ends badly - well much to their benefit they develop telepathic powers. They later have a child who is not only partly telepathic, but can also manipulate temperature and control heat energy. They're on the run from this agency and it's lead tracker/assassin John Rainbird. With her father's telepathy and her fire powers they run across the country trying to hide, while also looking for anyone who will publish their story. Cool movie for a slow Sunday but eh. It's crazy how much charm and charisma Drew Barrymore has LOLOL, she's literally 7 years old when that film came out and she bodied her role.

I rate it 5/10

Dead And Buried -- Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnn this movie was a fuckin trip, when it ended my jaw literally dropped and my eyes wide, holy fucking shit..... Yall have to watch this movie to understand I can't even go into it too tough cuz I dont want to give away the twist or even hint at it. This movie btw was banned in Europe when it came out so if that's not enough of a reason to check it out iuno what is. To make it short, basically a small group of people are terrorizing a small town, a new rookie cop is sent there to investigate to find out who but as he unravels the mystery he starts to unravel more eerie secrets. I had to scoop this one up from the video store but see if you can find it online.

The trailer doesnt do it justice and as it says - the ending really will take your breath away LOLOL. That shit had me like the Weebey gif LOLOL SMMFH.

I rate it 7.5/10 - I don't scare easily maaannn but this shit had me shook, strongly advise you don't google spoilers it's one of those "well who did it/whose in on it" films. What's fucked is it's places like that IRL SMMFH.

the-crow-poster.jpg

The Crow -- The last movie Brandon Lee did, he died on set. This is one of my favourite movies of all time and it's adapted from the legendary James O'Barr comic of the same title. This movie is about a group of hoodlums in Detroit involved in racketeering. A young couple decide to get married on Halloween but are killed hours before when these hoodlums break in because the couple refused to pay their "fee". In the process the bride-to-be is raped, beaten and killed while her fiance is stabbed, shot to death and then thrown out of a window. Nearly one year later he rises from the dead with new powers given to him by a crow (the one who carries spirits to the otherworld). With new supernatural powers and strength, Eric Draven or "The Crow" becomes a vigilante on a mission to pick off each of his killers one by one and anyone who gets in his way. Absolutely stunning movie and a fucking classic. From the use of colors, to the music, even the fucking soundtrack was a classic & made careers. I love this movie so much. I strongly recommend yall check it out if you haven't. I love it so much I have it on VHS, DVD, AND Blu-Ray LOLOL.

I rate it a 10/10 IDGAF watch it and tell me it deserves anything less than a 9/10.

Bram_Stoker's_Dracula_(Original_Motion_Picture_Soundtrack).jpg

Bram Stoker's Dracula -- I saw this way back in 94 and was shook daddy LOLOL, it later became one of my favourite films, saw it again today. Great movie and one of those movies that really re-established what the vampire was and is. Nowadays teenage girls date vampires SMMFH or they're highschool students battle social diseases *rolls eyes*. Anyways, this is a classic, directed by the legendary Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather). It stars Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves and Anthony Hopkins. Well acted movie and well put together. Crazy how Keanu was getting all these rolls back then I heard he beat out Johnny Depp for the role of Jonathan Hawker. Well if you haven't read Stoker's famous fable the movie is good enough. Dope movie, once again, great use of music and costumes, crazy how this movie had no CGI or over the top violence and became a classic, meanwhile you have movies with the red carpet rolled out they still can't fuck with this. This is basically a re-telling of the story of Dracula and all the things he can do and does. Pretty dope. If you loved Interview With The Vampire you'll love this.

I rate it 8.5/10 -- I freakin love this movie.

Imma check that zombie movie out

Just finished the rocker with rainn wilson. Shit was decent. Movie about a guy who was in a popular rock band in the 80s but was kicked out the band a few weeks before the went major. Modern day he lIves in his siblings attic and his nephew is in a band in highschool. Band does a gig at the prom and people loved it so they become a band and gain popularity. Pretty funny movie. I'll give it a 7.5/10

Watched the vice special on prison incarceration. It pretty much brought up points already made in regards to the prison complex system, but it was still pretty engrossing.
