Just watched this documentary on A tribe called quest. Shit was dope as fuck but kind of sad. Cool to see them reunite despite Tip and Phife being upset with eachother pretty much the whole tour. Also goes into their history pretty well. Directed by Michael Rappaport which surprised me. Didnt expect him to be a big hip hop head. Highly recommend this doc to any Tribe or Hip Hop fan.

I don't know his reply to Spike Lee about gentrification was kind of shaky. Sometimes people show they true colors when it comes to politics of any sort.

Anyway NAS initially brought the idea to tribe to do a docu at Rock the Bells and was going to spearhead the whole movie but Phife said for one reason or thee other he couldn't follow through so they went with rappaport...cool docu though...went out my way to support it since it was only released in selective theatres.

Good movie. Depp was on point. It focused mainly on his informant relationship with the fbi...thought it was gonna tell the story of how he came up.

and that part in the trailer where he stomped somebody's face in was cut. Unless it happened that fast and i missed it...i was mad tho i was waiting for that

In the doc it said after midnight marauders they were exhausted. Fame shit got to them Phife would sat tip was too controlling about how the group should appear and sound, tip said shit aboUT phife. They decided to call it quits after the love movement cuz tensions were really high during the making of the album. They called it quits and kept in contact with eachother but phife ended up needing a kidney and money for the operation. His wife became his doner and the group got an offer to appear on the rock the bells tour and headline it. Phife needed the money and talked to tip and they all agreed to do the tour. Tour started and tensions got high again, they just never could agree on shit but toughed it out, did the tour, said peace and phife got his operation.

Watched this the other day. Good movie, the story was interesting. The title character is played by the dude that's gonna be the Flash in the movie coming up. Dude is a weirdo in the movie, turns out he's a weirdo in real life too. But any way...

John C. Reilly did a good job in this. Crazy how dude can go from off the wall comedy to serious drama. His versatility is underrated in my opinion.

The movie does alotta time jumps and flashbacks but it's basically about this family they have a son name Kevin. Dude has some mental issues, he's a real sociopath. From the moment he's born he's giving his mom problems. His relationship with the father isn't too bad but he hates his mother. The actor who plays him as a child is like 8 years old and is still wearing a diaper.

Anyway the main plot point of the movie is

One night at school there's a sporting event in the gym and this crazy fucker locks all the doors and is perched high in the gym shooting his classmates with a bow and arrow. The mom is outside the school as the fire department breaks in and he's arrested.

She goes home later that night and she finds out that he had killed his little sister and his father

This movie worth a watch, I found it on my Amazon Prime.

Just saw it today, about a lonely, asshole banker who gets a gift with a company that puts him in a crazy ass live action game. Really good movie, whole bunch of twists. Michael Douglas is really good in the role
