I Origins - checked it out because i like Michael Pitt, i've already forgotten what this movie was about smh.think he plays a scientist who wants to dead the argument of religion by creating an eye from scratch.very loose sci-fi backdrop to the story.

Summer Of Sam - I Didn't realise this was based on actual events (even if it is only a backdrop in the film surrounding the story) until i was checking out info about the film after.Crazy shizzle, shows you how much i know about american history.This was more like Spike Lee channeling Scorsese imo, my man benny blanco was getting pussy left right and center in this.

kicked off the Halloween season with a gang of horror movies I've been wanting to see but missed over the years

Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh [not bad, great opening scene.. got to check out the 3rd one now]

Silver Bullet [pretty good.. Gary Busey was hilarious, classic Busey]

Graveyard Shift [yes! this was awesome]

April Fool's Day [this was good, I can see how the twist would piss people off but still one of the best 80's slashers]

Sleepwalkers [weird as fuck but original and cool.. I liked it]

I thought it was that's why i watched it in the first place but it's not. the killers wearing masks was really the only similarity. The strangers was more intense you're next was more "fun"

The Strangers was all the way serious whereas You're Next doesn't take itself too seriously and almost borders on comedy.

Also the killers have a real motive in You're Next whereas they didn't in The Strangers besides "Because you were home"

Finished up all three seasons of "the following"

season 1 was the best, season 2 had potential but was starting to get long in the tooth, and s3 started out pretty good with Michael Ealy's character, then i was just ready to get it over with by episode 7.

There is also a strangers 2 in the works from what I read ..taking place immediately after the first movie with the masked villains stalking a family that's on a family vacation for the summer ...they are visiting the aunt and uncle at there vacation home only to find them already dead victims of the strangers
