Interstellar-I was very intrigued by this movie. the lack of black people in it stuck out to me though...other than the scientist there was not nann other colored person to be seen.

Saw harlem nights all the way through for the first time. hilarious.

Book Of Eli .. Pulp post apocalyptic violent flick by the Hughes Bros. Not deep or nothing but visually it was straight. I think they shoulda gone for another back story or angle than that of the 'Bible' though. Also not a fan of Mila Kunis as an actor

JFK.. first time watching this. It had a documentary type feel to it. This when Oliver Stone was at the height of his powers.

25th Hour .. Spike Lee joint with Ed Norton and the late Philip Seymour Hoffman. An understated drama from Spike about a man who has 24 hours to spend with loved ones and friends before he goes to jail.

Spike here handles the Irish community in Brooklyn, NY with East Europeans thrown in the mix too

Fear and loathing in las Vegas starring johnny depp, crazy very funny film about 2 guys getting fucked up off drugs in vegas, been on my to watch list for years, depp killed it.

It has to do with Chinese migration to Japan and the tensions that arise. Xenophobia and gang warfare are depicted here.

The Japanese and swords bruh; that shit is a culture. The film has an 18 year old rating so I thought you'd be interested.

One of Jackie Chan's finest films in years. ..

the wedding ringer-wasnt that bad at all...esp since I only paid 2.40 at the value theater to see it. best part was really was when he first learned his named would bic mitchum.....

@atribecalledgabi

Added the bolded to my list today. Gonna check out the others

Witness (1985) starring Harrison Ford, Kelly McGillis, Danny Glover, and a young Viggo Mortensen in a bit part. An 8 year old Amish boy witnesses two cops murder another cop in a train station's bathroom which forces the straight laced cop on the case (Ford) into hiding in the Amish community. I had never seen this even though it's highly regarded and the only time Ford has ever been nominated for an Academy Award (he didn't win). It focused more on the Amish community and not as much as being a thriller which is what it was promoted as, kind of boring honestly. You do get to see Kelly McGillis' tits before she went lesbian and got all gross looking which was cool. Also I realized Ford's partner is none other than Hoppin' Bob from Life haha. 5/10.
