i feel asleep fam... the trailer made it out to be some action packed shit... definitely a snooze fest

kill the messenger- cool flick... i know must of us already knew about rick ross/CIA coke movement in the 80-90s, but to learn about the actual reporter to break the story was cool, and how the story turned from the CIA to tarnishing my mans name

white friend kept telling me check out those hunger games movies... watched all 3.. don't see why their so popular.

they all claimed to hate the games but how many of them actually SPOKE out against them?

maze runner- aight nothing special. Still dint see the point of that "experiment"

Birdman Or (The Unexpected Virtue Of Ignorance)

I went to see this tonight with my sis and it's half price on Wednesdays. It went off cinemas for a minute but after its Oscar win they brought it back. I liked it a whole lot. Brilliant

I know a whole lotta people didn't get this film but I did. It literally and subliminally poked fun on Hollywood and that whole system; social media, blockbusters, arty self consciousness, film critics and ageism but all in an hilarious fashion

Michael Keaton was hilarious. Ed Norton too. Sharp witty screenplay and the photography.. wooooooh all in one shot; no cuts. Emanuel Lubezki is a beast with them cameras bruh. Back to back Oscar wins for cinematography. He won it last year for Gravity

A worthy winner for Best Picture IMO

I've also been a fan of the director Gonzalez Inarittu way back when he made Amores Perros, his first film in Mexico to 21 Grams and Babel.

The Homesman starring Tommy Lee Jones (also directed), Hilary Swank, James Spader, John Lithgow, Meryl Streep, Jesse Plemons, William Fichtner, Hailee Steinfeld, Grace Gummer, Evan Jones, Miranda Otto, & Sonja Richter. Set in 1850's Nebraska a strong willed but depressed woman who no-one wants to marry (Swank) is tasked with transporting three insane women to Iowa so they can be checked into a mental hospital. Along the way she saves a man from being hung (Jones) so he can help her on her journey. This ain't your daddy's John Wayne type Western that romantisized the era. This shit is dark, bleak, and unsettling. Surprised it didn't get any Oscar love. 7/10.

I think Hunger Games is popular because teenage girls were into the books like Twilight and shit

50 shades of grey leaked nh Imma watch it

i skimmed through it (on mute) to scour out potential fap worthy scenes, there were absolutely fuck all....the nudity was so mild i swear i see more skin when my wife wears a bhurka.

disspaointment would be an understatement given the fuss.deleted that shit straight away.

There's no way that movie would have been shot in real BDSM fashion with the publicity and dollars thrown behind it

The book itself is crappy literature

Weren't the books really just "fan fiction" that somehow were spun off of the Twilight series somehow??? I read an article that said something like that but just skimmed through cause well it was about 50 Shades of Grey.

Yes they are.

The Amazing Spiderman 2 - I was grinning at the ridiculous product placement by Sony in this movie. I thought it was aight. If there's gonna be a third film however they need to upgrade from this..

Prisoners - I liked this too. It had a Stephen King like mood to the story. Roger Deakins the DOP is a master

Da Sweet Blood Of Jesus - Spike Lee 's latest joint. Dude went far left with this. Cannibalism, voodoo, African art and references. I dunno how this would've performed if it had a major release.

It tells the story of a wealthy Black man who has an addiction for human blood.

The actress here Zaraah Abrahams is sexy AF and she British. Looks like i'mma activate my stalking abilities soon
