Watched (tried to watch) "let me explain" , was about 25 mins in and didnt laugh once. This nigga kevin hart is becoming a caricature of himself. Running the same joke into the ground, no deep topics , nothing.

Ended up watching Bill Burr's standup special "Im sorry you feel that way" and that shit had me damn near in tears. SHit was a complete 180. That was my first time watching a special from homie, anybody know any other ones from dude?

Jackson was good as the villain, Firth was a good in his role too, a lot of head nods to old spy shows and old Bond movies, an absurd plan to take over the world, gadgets...

Fight sequences were violently brutal, same guy who directed Kick-Ass so was expected...

Dog Pound - youth prison drama set in Montana. Moral: prison is a mind fuck

Betty Blue - french erotic drama released in '86.

Top Five - brilliant. No holds bar from Chris Rock and I loved all the cameos from the creme of Black comedians.

Whiplash - I'm a jazz enthusiast so I resonated well with this film. Top acting from both leads.

The Dark Knight - the best out of the three films by a mile

This Is Where I Leave You - soppy funeral drama with a whole lotta Jewish actors.

Live And Let Die - I think the very first Bond movie I watched as a child. I dig it more 'cos it bit the Blaxploitation wave of that time.

The Fighter - boxing drama based on a true story starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale. It was good.
