Man ABC Family been rolling the whole day. The Karate Kid 1 and 2. The Sandlot. Uncle Buck. The Breakfast Club. Then finish it off with Grease.

Schwarzenegger's Running Man been re-run on TV over the past month ..

Its funny seeing things played out here like altering events on 'reality TV' for ratings happening in our present time even though I saw this film first time as a kid in the late '80s ..

And that accent of his. Lawd. Hilarious. How this fool become governor of an American state? LOL

i'm reading 'his' autobiography now.

the one thing i've learnt so far is that this man has never seemed short of confidence.

looper- I should have been saw this one. it put an interesting spin on time travel. I had to rewind a couple of times to figure out what was going on. that rainmaker kid creeped me out a little. was he played by a midget. he was too smart to be that young. he was tinkering making gadget out of toys and fighting with his mom. is was like watching a live action stewie griffin. I was hoping joseph would kill him so the future joseph could get back home to his hot Asian wife. instead he took the easy way out. I give it an A- it could have use just one more shoot out scene.

wristcutters: a love story, -B ... a unique and affecting film about the human condition, suicide ...i loved the characters and actor will arnett plays a messiah lol

children of men, A.... imho one of, if not the best scifi movie of the last 20 years. and even though the matrix had more of an impact on film today, i feel children of men was a slightly better made movie. starring clive owen, the story, direction and acting was all superb ...don't wanna get to in depth about the plot but its recommended viewing if you like scifi thrillers

really beautiful film.

i liked how they had theodore (joaquin) not hiding that samantha was a computer voice. all throughout we (the audience) knew it...but the way the "relationship" was handled you couldn't tell anybody that it wasn't real. & you a lie if you say when he found out he was being cheated on or when samantha had to leave it wasn't sad af.

eh...

i never cared for captain america as a hero...idk he bores me...movie was ok tho. they need to just go ahead & do a black widow movie. she & nick fury were the most interesting parts imo.

lol I read the synopsis for "her" and lol'd , that nigga's bitch is a computer? ill pass

Bout to set aside 4hrs today to finally watch "once upon a time in america" .

Godzilla

I honestly don't know where to start with this. Its not like I feel like I wasted my time with this movie but it feels like I was conned. Didn't have any expectations one way or the other about this. I don't even know how to explain the plot. Walter White keeps speaking on science shit to the japanese scientists about something about talking and echolocation and finding signals and nuclear testing and whatnot. He and Kickass get arrested and taken to an area where they have this thing captured and running tests on it. It breaks free and starts raising hell. Another one breaks loose from wherever the hell it was and they start some shit. FINALLY, Godzilla shows up (LITERALLY OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE), and now we have our monster movie.

The thing with monster movies like this that will always piss me off is that they will make the military look like complete idiots. They did it in this and the 1998 movie. How am I suppose to believe these people can do anything helpful when they're doing the exact opposite? The humans are absolutely frustrating to watch. No emotional attachment. Moments of suspense aren't even dramatic enough. They literally do not have a reason to be in this movie. They had this scientist who tags along through the movie just to make the military useless (he isn't much help either). Buildings are falling, shit is being destroyed, monsters are walking around and people don't even notice. There are people in office buildings oblivious to the fact that there is a monster right out their window and don't notice until the last minute. Speaking of, Godzilla looks bad. Like a cross between the Eric Bana Incredible Hulk and a giant snapping turtle. The fight scenes are good. I'll give it that but I had to suspend my disbelief to most of it. Just like Broddie said with the fire blast. That part was badass. The MUTOs did look pretty intimidating though.

The worst part of this movie was the writing was piss poor. They had this mcguffin throughout most of the movie that they made you think was important and they didn't do a damn thing with it. It was just a reason for the humans to be there. Come to think of it, they did a bad job of explaining why the hell Godzilla even popped up in the first place. Things happen for one reason and then they don't happen for another reason. They wasted Bryan Cranston in this. He did nothing worthwhile. It's just a giant mess. I had more fun listening to my girlfriend tear this movie apart than watching the movie itself. I know I'm sounding mad but I'm not. I just feel disappointed and a little hollow. It's like the Michael Bay Transformer movies (just not as dumb). The monsters were cool. Everything else: Not so much

Grade: D

lmao i felt the same way that's why i didn't watch it til now. but really tho the way it was put together it didn't even matter. for the premise being so out there it didn't even seem all that outlandish to me by the end. there was some funny ass parts in it too. he was having phone sex with this chick & outa nowhere she tells him to choke her with a dead cat. i was rollin

tryna finish up breaking bad. i stopped watching when it was on halfway through the 1st season. currently on season 2 ep. 5, binging on netflix

The Iceman

Michael Shannon playing a real life contract killer, I really dunno what to make of this film other than it was more like a character study of the man, Kuklinski .. his beliefs and principles when murdering potential victims

Winona Ryder puts in a good show as his wife. Ray Liotta too ..

3/5

finally watched Gone Baby Gone.. great film. movie was on some real ass shit. damn near tripled my respect for Ben Affleck, dude is the man right now

got around to watching The Social Network.. ehh don't know what all the hype was about, shit was overrated to me.
