Terrible by all accounts...and not "terrible" like the original was, it was plain bad...

It tried to be way to serious...

taken me a while to find this on dvd.watched it when it first came out, highly enjoyed it a second time around as well.

one of Goslings very best performances, supporting cast is great as well.

the zombie logic in this movie makes zero sense at all but i'd be an idiot for nitpicking a movie like this.by no means is it well made but strangely entertaining. All the nods to other horror films were cool (especially evil dead, even the main guy looks like ash by the end of the film.)

the movie geek should have lived longer though, they did that boy wrong.

the film starts off with a Ann Peebles jam.i said to my housemate that would probably be the highlight of the film.turns out it actually was.

terrible fucking movie.co-written by luc besson who was basically trying to recreate leon here somewhat.the daughter was retarded and ungrateful as shit,so your telling me your dad comes and saves you from a possible multiple gang rape situation your facing and the way you show gratitude is by getting angry he never taught you how to ride a bike.

fuck outta here.the credits came up and the first thing i saw was 'directed by McG'

if i bothered doing my homework and realised this shitmonger had made this film i would have saved 2 hours of my life.

Amber Heard (the only reason i watched it) was barely in it either.

completely forgettable but might warrant a one time watch.

Keira Knightly was annoying, completely ruined the movie for me with her fucked up teeth.bitch has been chewing on rocks.

Kenneth Branaghs introduction is the greatest i've seen in a film since the joker in TDK.had me laughing like a fool for some reason.

New Jack City. No matter how many times I see it, I always wonder if dude really had to snatch up that doll and toss it like he was doing something. Hilarious. Great music montage. And 'do it till we both wake up' still sounds like a date rape line. Great shootouts. lmao at snatching up that kid for protection. Love this movie. A rare good Chris Rock role.

Just so we're clear...

You got the GOAT for the Nazi Zombie movie, watched it like 5 yrs ago, shits dope...

Both of those Costner movies are bullshit...

Saw it in theaters and that was a long time ago but I believe Bob Taylor was one of the kids that got abducted but managed to escape and he was just fucked in the head afterwards, like he had a particular interest in child abductions but he would just recreate them by stealing clothes, attend candlelight vigils etc. but wouldn't actually kidnap anyone. Also that's the reason he knew the maze was because he had been abducted.

Also heard of a potential spinoff of this movie about Jake Gyllenhall's character.

Watched 3 Days to Kill and I honestly didn't hate it like everyone else did but then I might be biased because I'm a big Kevin Costner fan. If you were going in expecting some Oscar material then that's all on you but it was good for what it was. I must've watched an unrated version though cause I know it was rated PG-13 but there were several F bombs and a fair amount of nudity in the one I watched.

Saw frozen today. Brave was the last kids movie I saw and before that I think it was meet the robinsons or some shit...lol..so I really don't watch em anymore but it was one of the better made Disney movies as far as narrative and messages go.

Attack_The_Block_2.jpg

GRADE ( B ) "Attack The Block" is the European Independent Sci Fi cult film staring John Boyega about Aliens coming to attack one of the hoods/projects in London. As everyone knows John Boyega was recently casted in a staring role in "Star Wars Episode VII" so this film would be a good teaser if you want to see what he has. People have recommended this film to me in real life as well as in this post. I liked it, again low budget so the acting felt off in parts. I was cool with the accents, it does take place in London. The Aliens were pretty well done but came off like gorrilas. The ending was little rushed but again they were working with what they had. Had some really funny dialog. Boyega did good as the lead reminds me of a really young denzel. Overall cool little sci-fi movie. I think there could be a sequel with how it ended.

220px-Her2013Poster.jpg

GRADE ( A ) From Acclaim Director Spike Jones comes the comedy/sci fi/drama "Her" staring Joaquin Phenoix, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara and Scarlet Johanssan. I've always been a fan of Spike Jones since his music video days of directing "Sabotage" for the Beastie Boys and "Sky's the limit" for Biggie. So I gave this a spin. Yes it really lived up to the hype. Joaquin plays a recently divorced loner who goes to work and plays video games. He gets a new OS (Operating System) that can talk and organize his files. As the film goes on he starts to actually fall in love with his computer and you know what's crazy.

It was so well acted you actually believe it. Scarlet voice was perfect I really wish there was just a quick scene with her beautiful face. The ended through me off but as I thought about it the ended made perfect scene cause he got way to caught up in this. I loved the Sci-Fi elements as it took place way into the future but not the far future to the point you can see that happening. Most definitely deserved the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and Joaquin got robbed for a Nod from this. Overall very good movie, the colors, the scenes, the acting and the concept just worked.

For some reason I decided to have a Kevin Hart day. Hey I like the guy he's funny:

220px-Ride_Along_poster.jpg

Grade ( B ) "Ride Along" is the buddy cop movie staring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. Directed By Tim Story of "Barbershop, Fastastic Four 1 & 2 and Think like a Man". This was basically a comedy version of Training Day. Kevin Harts plays a school security cop who wants the approval of his girlfriends tough cop brother. So he signs up to the police academy. Ice Cube who wants nothing to do with Kevin decides to scare him by taking him on a day with him, during that "Training Day" lol all hell breaks loose. I have to be honest. I laughed a lot, Kevin just has this personality that makes you laugh cause he's just so silly and stupid sometimes, lol. Him and Cube had great chemistry. Yes the plot was your basic kidnap the girl, crime/drug/gun deal plot but the formula worked here. What worked is Cube and Kevin were just playing themselves. Lawerence Fishburne was too funny in this role for this as well as John Legizumo. Overall funny movie crazy there's going to be a sequel but this was a surprise blockbuster success.

Grudge_Match_Poster.jpg

GRADE ( C ) Legendary Actors Robert Deniro and Sylvester Stallone team up clash of iconic film boxing titans. That's right Rocky and Raging Bull in a fight? Well not exactly. They are playing those characters yes but in a alternate universe were they have different names and they are both from Pittsburgh (Rocky was Philly, Bull was NY). Kevin Hart plays the son of the original Box Promoter (A Don King knock off). Kim Basinger and Alan Arkin are also in it. I thought it was pretty funny in spots. I think to really enjoy this movie you would of had to have grown up watching Deniro and Stallone. That's what made it funny to me cause yes they are old but it reminds me that I'm getting old as I was a young boy when both Rocky and Raging Bull were out. The movie got a little too dramatic near the end but I guess this was a family oriented film. Overall funny alternate universe match up.

what was the message gabi

The bond between sisters (or family in general...or friends too) can be stronger than romance.

Not to be afraid of yourself

thats a great message wouldn't you agree gabi?
