Watched Filth with James Mcavoy. Good movie starts to get really trippy as the movie goes on. You like those drugged out Euro movies you'll dig this.

Journey to the West and The Monkey King. All I can so about those is Asians are weird af. Not particularly bad just they need to catch up on cgi in movies damn.

Saw about 5to movies in the last week or so

Captain Phillips - i enjoyed it. And are we sure the Somalis were actors and not actual Somali pirates because they were that good. They were scary as fuck and moreso because you know it happened like that in real life. You had the head guy who called the shots, the short tempered hothead who would kill you if you blinked wrong, and the young inexperienced one. Tom hanks did a good job and his ending scene was very believable. I would've shit myself in that situation.

Curse of Chucky- i loved this movie. The big deal about it was that it was going to be more scary like the first couple chuckys and it was. I loved the fact the majority of the movie took place in one location which was a creepy looking house. I like how they tied this movie together with the backstory of Charles lee ray and chuckys daughter played the main character which was cool. SPOILER : there was a video of chucky killin folks yet everyone still thought the girl did it. Did chucky destroy the tape because it really wasn't implied?

The Call - this starred Halle Berry and Morris chestnut's fine ass. Another great movie. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. A great thriller that keeps you watching. And i really do blame Halle for the first girl's death lol. If u seen it u know what im talkin about.

Amazing Spiderman 2- i was reading some of the reviews in the other thread and i agree with some that they should've spent more time building up the villans. And also that electro having this vendetta against Spiderman seemed forced. But if you think about crazy people who stalk and kill people, it usually starts out as admiration and love and as soon as their rejected it turns to obsession and hate so i guess it makes sense. I like emma stone as an actress ever since i saw superbad but she was just okay in this movie. I enjoyed the opening scene with his parents and Andrew Garfield did a good job, i actually liked toby and wasn't sure if i would like the new guy but he was good.

Gravity - cool movie, wish i saw it in theaters, im sure it looked amazing. George clooney was replaceable. I felt like anyone could've played his role. Ryan Reynolds could've played his role and it wouldn't have taken anything away from the movie. Sandra did great. And this movie is reason #367755 why I've never desired to be an astronaut. And at the end i kept thinking about how fucked up it would be if she had drowned or an alligator ate her.

Seven- good movie, Kevin spacey never plays anyone normal lol. Morgan freeman was good as usual. Brad pitt was looking good. The ending was fucked up but expected at a certain point. Smh at Morgan talkin about put the gun down. He was right but honestly everyone would've did what brad did in that situation .

I find it hard to believe it was the worst movie you've ever seen unless you don't watch that many movies. Your opinion is your opinion tho. I'll check out The Spectacular Now when I get a chance.

That Awkward Moment was terrible, anybody that thinks it's good has a horrible taste in movies, and yes I'm a big movie nerd. It's 22% Rotten Tomato rating should let you know the majority of people thought it was ass cheeks not to mention it theaters in January and 90% of movies that drop in January or February are awful.

GRADE (C - ) This was a recommendation from a friend. It's called "The Echelon Conspiracy" and it actually has a solid cast being lead by Shane West, Ed Burns, Ving Ryhmes and Martin Sheen. This film is about a compture security worker who gets a mysterious phone. When he starts getting random text the conspiracy is on as it leads him to a casino on the other side of the world. The movie was decent. Had an Enemy of the State/Eagles Eye feel as far as Big Brother and computers finding their own intelligence. But something about the film was off. Maybe the direction in spots. Again good for a rental though.

21 Jump Street. Weird movie. Funny, but a lot of stuff taking me out of it. Tatum reminds me of that guy from Burn Notice. Like their faces are paralyzed. And Jonah Hill looks like a beat up bag of sand.

The Eagle. Skip this garbage. Just watch Centurion.

Magic Mike. Went into this one blind. Wasn't expecting it to be so down. Then again, it's been years since I've seen a episode of Real Sex. Pretty sure they had some folk working in the sex industry and the story went kinda the same. Great on stage with all the lights, then it'd turn into a sad workplace comedy with the depression of aging out of work and a boss always promising tomorrow. The best from Channing Tatum that I've seen out the three.

Instruction Not Included. Good movie. Lots of funny stuff. Soon as the mom showed back up talking about how she's a lawyer, just knew some fuckery was in the near future.

Breathless. Korean debt collector movie. Not the best movie with this story (i.e. seeing the not-so-bad side of a maybe mob character), but wasn't regretting having watched it.

Donnie Brasco. All that work for a five hundred dollar award. Can't remember much of the movie, but that stood out. Mostly because maybe 10 minutes before, he was arguing of a bag of 300K. smh.

Rock of Ages. Trash. Could probably count on one hand how many musicals I've seen, but doubt people who are into the genre thought this was was doing much. Felt like a lot of the songs were just tossed in, instead of having songs that fit what was going on. Really needed to recast the lead actors. Were pretty outstanding with how terrible they were. Better off just finding a youtube edit with all the Jaxx(Cruise) scenes and save yourself two hours.

Training Day. Never got all the hype that was around this movie. Felt like everybody was just giving Denzel an adult handshake because he played a villain.

Filth (A)with James Mcvoy , movie was really good , this dude is underrated as an actor or maybe not rated enough.

Nebraska (A) - a father and son road trip, from Billings, Montana to Lincoln, Nebraska that gets waylaid at a small town in central Nebraska, where the father grew up and has scores to settle.

Told with great deadpan humor and a unique visual style, it's ultimately the story of a son trying to penetrate his impenetrable father.

Bruce Dern and the lady who played his wife killed it

Dope music too

Nebraska is my shit. Love that movie.

Outrage -

Joint started of pretty slow and was confusing because it involved a lot of different players but it definitely picked up as the movie progressed.. all of the drama kicked off due to a simple misunderstanding.. and the attempt to smooth shit over and from there all hell broke lose.. "the chairman" called shots as a puppeteer playing bosses against each other..shit was ill..

The sequel is also on Netflix.. which ill watch shortly
