Iron Man 3...shit was a meh fest imo. fell asleep about for 15 minutes 1/4 of the way thru. I keep waiting for Thor to fall outta the sky. lol.

Now you see me....this seemed pretty lame goin in. but I like the entire cast, so I gave it a watch. shit was even lamer than I thought it would be. lol. I guess the magic "tricks" were cool. but other than that. meh

we went thru 2hours and the end game was jus that...

the dude who plays Hulk in the Avengers, is the lead FBI dude. jus wants to get back the company who made the shitty safe that caused his pops to die in a magic trick gone wrong many years ago.

btw this bullshit is in talks to get a sequel. wtf

FMA: Brotherhood. Got a lot of great villains. Sucks that some of them went out so easy though.

Let it Rain. Wasn't bad but misleading description had me disappointed with it. Not a comedy.

We are the Millers... solid comedy. most of the funny parts were in the trailer. and it got corny towards the end. lol @ the 50 cent cop reference. lol @ the @ the riff raff white rapper character. I expected it to be alil better tho.

Trigun: Badlands. Good if you enjoyed the series, unfortunately you don't get all your favorite characters together. Weak story but good fun.

A Haunted House. Very funny. Swingers were stealing scenes.

Couple of Ken Burns documentary episodes.

Well with all the photos and news about "The Expendables 3", I decided to check out the two GOAT's last movies. They both ended up flopping at the box office but for Arnold and Sly fans, give them a chance:

(GRADE = C) Stallone is Back in his 1st solo Starring role since 2008's "Rambo 4" with "Bullet to the Head" directed by Walter Hill who is responsible for producing the Legendary "Alien" Franchise. Stallone plays a career criminal who always finds himself back in the game. While doing a job he is double crossed by his employers. That leads him to team up with an out of town Cop played by Sung Kang aka HAN from the Fast and Furious franchise. Even Christian Slater makes an appearance. The movie was pretty hard. Stallone was crazy in this role. Trust me the movie lives up to the title "Bullet to the head", mad head shots, lol.

(GRADE = C) Well he always said he would be back. After 10 years, joining politics and marriage drama. Arnold is back on the big screen in his 1st starring role since 2003's T-3:Rise of the Machines. In "The Last Stand" Arnold plays a small town Sheriff in Arizona. Well when a high level FBI fugitive gets away the only thing standing in his way of freedom to the Mexico border is going threw Arnold's town. I thought this was a nice little comeback for Arnold. Johhny Knockville acted a fool in this, lol. Also some of the kills were really good. I liked it but it did have flaws. Forrest Witaker is in it also.

So Salute to the two Iconic Action Legends. I can't wait to see their new film together dropping this October called "Escape Plan". The Trailer is online now. It drops 10/18/13:

Fire and Ice.

This was a lot better than what I thought it'd be. They only 80's animated movies I used to watch usually had transformers or gi joes in em but this surprised me. Frank Frazetta showcased his talents of drawing and painting tremendously, the detail was fantastic. It even showed how the tits moved when running or rolling around almost like it was real life. As a kid this type of shit would of scared me because of how the animations of everything were so realistic.

Think Conan but with more dinosaurs, it is a really good film if you're the type to like sword and sorcery films.

I saw this film growing up in the 80's as a kid and looking back I can't believe my parents let me watch this, lol. It was mad sexual and violent. This was not Saturday morning cartoon. This one of the most legendary "Adult" cartoons ever. Like you said the animation was amazing. If you enjoyed that you should check out this film, it's a Classic late 70's/early 80's animation style from Ralph Bakski. But "Fire and Ice" is CLASSIC. Amazing film. But here's the movie if you haven't seen it. Mark Hamil aka Luke Skywalker is even a voice in this:

Hit and run - the stuff between the action is better than the action itself which was surprising,Bradley Cooper is in raasta mode and kills the entire movie with one line.

Enter the void - man this was hard to get through.....never seen anything like it,I wouldn't recommend it anyone nor would I say watch it with anyone else because it isn't one of those films.first half of the film was dope visually it's pretty amazing, and then the last 40 mins is just a barrage of sexual orgies.personally dont understand why filmmakers have the need to do this aside from lack of ideas or some sort of perverse infatuation with sex.the film lost me when through the eyes of the spirit your following, your in his sisters vagina whilst shes gettin the pipe and you seeing the penis going in and out.....wtf?turned it off at point.

We're the millers - thought this would be funnier, best part was 2 or 3 guys getting up and leaving after the Aniston strip scene,im not sure if they came back.

Oblivion

had low expectations watchin it because alotta ppl were bashing it

i liked it doe how could anybody not like the terminator drones

visually beautiful

Dredd. They were doing to much with this one. Slo-Mo drug effects were okay once or twice, but throwing it all over the movie and having shootouts just made it cheesy. Main villain was all over the place. One second she's a unknown genius on her way to having a drug empire, the next she's dumb enough to kill people in her front yard. She can spend a million for corrupt judges but she can't buy off the security in the tower. Makes no sense to have her jump around like that. Far as Dredd, helmet look wasn't all that bad, but guy playing him went around the whole time like he just walked into somebody's fart. Sidekick was way better than Rob Schneider, but still pretty useless outside of getting raped in Avon's head and biting his junk off.

Musa: The Warrior. Looks good and has lots of great action, that's about it. Ending sucks. May as well have turned Zhang Ziyi into a meat matress and left her ass in the desert for all the good she does.

(GRADE = A CLASSIC) Friends know I'm a huge movie buff some sometimes they ask me to recommend a movie. While over a friends house who wasn't from NY. He asked me about some Classic New York movies. I thought of a few Deniro and Pacino Classics but I asked him had he seen "The Warriors". He said no it was before his time. He's about 25. Ironically it's before my time too, it came out a year before I was born in 79' but of course I always watch the Classics. So I said you have to watch this. After recently watching "Bullet to the Head", I popped in this Walter Hill Classic.

"The Warriors" is the Legendary New York Cult Film about a gang getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. When all the gangs of Modern New York go to the Bronx for a meeting about unity, all hell breaks loose when one of the Leaders is attacked. The Warriors are blamed and find themselves on the run from the Bronx to Coney Island fighting gangs all the way home. This was an amazing film and really captures the vibe of Late 70's early 80's New York. So many Classic quotables in this film. It was also very suspenseful. I'm happy to report that my friend completely understands why this is a Classic movie. He loved it.

Dead Space. If you played the game, you know what to expect. Great for all the 'yell at the tv' moments. Hits on a lot of those points.

Hatfields and McCoys. All that over a pig? smh. Uncle Jim and Fog-Eye > everybody in the movie.

was on vacation and caught up on some movies i never got around to watch:

The Amazing Spiderman - ehh, Spidey just not my thing I guess. villain was wack. thumbs down

The Hunger Games - thumbs up, not bad even though its a a Battle Royale/The Running Man rip-off

In Time - thumbs up, nice concept - something original for once

Iron Man 3 - thumbs up, not bad. gotta turn your brain off though, endless stupid/senseless shit going on in this movie - villain was wack as fuck too. still entertaining though

District 9 - thumbs up - movie was dope as fuck
