Drive featuring ryan gosling was refreshing ....loved the score. a bit overrated though....a solid B

and maybe this is just me but Gone Baby Gone while a great directorial debut by Ben Afflect towards the end the plot got muddled as hell...kinda took away from the movie

Notes on a Scandal ....featuring judy dench and cate blanchett... I give that a +B. Acting was incredible. Judi dench character was creepy as hell

(GRADE C +) This was a film I was interested in the concept but never gave it a chance cause I was lukewarm on Hayden after the Star Wars Prequels. Well I decided to give it a chance and it actually wasn't that bad. "Jumper" is the story of a socially awkward Kid who finds out he has a special gift. He is actually able to jump to any part of the world. But when he starts to use his powers illegally.

It leads a force of futuristic bounty hunters lead by Samuel L Jackson after them. Again I thought the concept was cool and they could of built on it even more. David Goyer of "Man of Steel and The Dark Knight Trilogy, Blade" wrote it. Sam was good as the villain. The Typical Hollywood Love story angle made it drag but the effects were good and the last battle was pretty good. You can tell they were setting it up for more films but the box office was lukewarm. Interesting Sci-Fi Adventure film.

Zulu Dawn.

Porky's. Had it in my head that this was a good movie.

Gladiator. Past the opening battle, couldn't stay interested.

First nine episodes of Mad Men. Probably not gonna keep going with it.

Fire and Ice.

This was a lot better than what I thought it'd be. They only 80's animated movies I used to watch usually had transformers or gi joes in em but this surprised me. Frank Frazetta showcased his talents of drawing and painting tremendously, the detail was fantastic. It even showed how the tits moved when running or rolling around almost like it was real life. As a kid this type of shit would of scared me because of how the animations of everything were so realistic.

Think Conan but with more dinosaurs, it is a really good film if you're the type to like sword and sorcery films.

Watched "We are the Millers" yesterday .. im really picky about what type of comedies i see/pay for this one was well worth the $12.50. The above picture is an illustration of one of the funniest scenes in the movie.. i laughed alot during this joint..

it has the oft white comedy dick humor goto.. but all in all this shit was hilarious..

Notes on a Scandal- 7.5/10.

Judi Dench either got nominated or won the award for this movie. She deserved it. Her ass was crazy. She definitely made the movie. It was a well acted and directed film, but her performance put it over the top.

We Need to Talk About Kevin- 7.5/10

Tilda Swinton plays the main character whose son did something so horrific that the whole town literally hates her for spawning him. It's a very suspenseful film (but not suspense genre). It's told entirely through a series of flashbacks, cutting back and forth between present day and flashbacks starting when she became pregnant with her son. The suspense is that the audience isn't informed of what the son actually did until the very end. So all the flashbacks are a gradual build up to the final reveal. I will say though that I'm not entirely sure I buy the probability of the son actually being able to pull off what he did. A very good film nonetheless.

I just watched a movie called Red. Not the action flick. A flick bout some teen who killed a old man dog... Good movie. shit had me heated
