Finally got to watch the 'Uncut version' ... . I think my favourite screen performance from Bale

bad_lieutenant.jpg

i like the way Werner Herzog adapts to any city he shoots a film in and the ease at which he settles. A rare turn from Nic Cage as well, playing a manically depressed cop with a bad back in N.O right after Katrina. He's one of the last few eccentric actors

This Bigelow chick has got balls for a woman to be making films like these. Well crafted film and straight to the point story of the factual hunt for bin Laden.

(I read the whole story of the capture/manhunt from its origins in a Vanity Fair article last year. Very informative and gripping)

.. . Was surreal seeing the late Gandolfini as CIA Director

French film starring Marion Cotillard (the chick with the accent in The Dark Knight Returns) about a whale trainer who suffers an horrific accident that cripples her and a once former homeless dude that becomes her guardian ... . The scenes of her having sex without any legs are awkward as fuck to watch.

There's some kick-boxing in there too .. .

Frances-Ha.jpg

Saw this last night at the cinema with my sis .. .

Its about this 27 year old woman called Frances, living in NY going through the motions .. .

Its shot in black and white and if you like quirky characters and Woody Allen movies, you'll like this

CLOUD ATLAS (GRADE A) 6 Movies in 1, From the Directors of the Legendary "Matrix Trilogy" and the Cult Classic "Run Lola Run" comes this amazing film. Now I'm not going to lie, you either going to love this film or hate it. 1st it's 2hr 45mins long, so it does drag in the beginning but after the 1st 45 minutes that sets up all the stories, you go on this crazy ass ride. The 6 stories go from 6 seperate stories to one story that seems to connect to each other. The Cast basically plays different characters in each story. It's an amazing job by all the actors. Without spoiling the movie the 6 stories deal with, Slavery, Homosexuality, Freedom, Love, Conspiracy, Fate, Destiny, Sacrifice, Friendship, Hate, Evil, Old Age, Future, Apcoloypse. They just cover so many themes that I had to give it up for this movie. I understand why it flopped, this movie will go over the average movie goer's head. It's a complex film that will be a Classic in the future. It's a head of it's time. It comes out on DVD in February.

just got done watching it same herE I give it an A.

this is the end- wack

gay shit, white jokes, 1 funny black moment, and cheesey pop group

if you a black man, dont let nobody talk you into this bs

Watched The Paperboy

It's really good minus Matthew McConaughey's weird gay sex part

John Cusack is such a psycho in this .... kinda saw the ending coming but still had some crazy twists. Zac Efron is in his tighty whiteys most of the movie and Nicole Kidman plays a great dirty slut

Macy Gray is my fav character ....

Yeah, I was surprised at how good that movie turned out to be, but then again Tom Cruise is pretty consistent.

Just saw an older movie that I never thought i'd like but ended up loving called "Glengarry Glen Ross." Something about the title made it sound extremely boring, but heard it was a great film by several people so decided to check it out.

Never thought a movie about salesman would turn out this good. Incredible acting, one of Al Pacino's best imo. Written by David Mamet so as usual great dialogue but slightly unsatisfactory ending. Either way I thought this was a great film.

Stargate SGU. One of those shows I thought ended to early. Sci Fi pulled a Fox and killed it with time slot changes. Robert Carlyle and Ming-Na were great. Only knock was spending too much time in S1 on the Chloe character. Would've been better off giving Greer or one of the doctors more time.

Last season of Breaking Bad and DS9. Raising a god deal in DS9 threw me, but everything with the war and Section 31 was great.. minus the doctor bs. Sloan still the goat. Know what youre getting with Breaking Bad.

Yakuza War. Couldn't follow this at all. Time skips. Leaving the dude that was supposed to be the lead(apparently..) half way through the movie. A terrible lead character anyway since he was bad at yakuza-ing - but somehow got to be a boss - while trying to mix being a imbecile with a weird japanese non-gay(?) man obsession. Random moments of documentary style info drops for characters you wont give a shit about. Bad editing all around.

Ripper Street. Nice to see a few Game of Thrones people show up in the same show. Felt like a sister show to Copper with one in London and other in New York.

I still enjoy watching this film occasionally ... came on late on Sunday and I chimed in

sinister.jpg

Starring Ethan Hawke as a writer of non-fiction crime stories who moves into a haunted house and getting spooked by ghosts and paranormal activity ... worth watching

inglourious-basterds+(5).jpg

I own the DVD and watched it last night .. . You gotta admire Tarantino as a screen-writer even though he borrows a lot of material from older films. He's good at writing very tense dialogue before shit goes down. I watched the Extended-Cuts and a short film included (the film Hitler and his cohorts were watching in the cinema before it got burnt down)

Watched this today. It's a British horror film about a couple who head off the woods and get bullied by some youths. Shit was dreary and messy. Bloody too. One of Michael Fassbender's early roles .. .

More shit this weekend hopefully

Oh i watched Juno last week.. the ending pissed me off i wanted to see just a snippet of Juno in child down the road or some shit.. the ending annoyed me, good flick.. though

We Are the Millers

HIGH-larious

The kid who plays the "son" is my fav

When that spider bites his balls....I almost fell out of my chair

Yeah We're The Millers was funny.

I thought the bloopers at the end where they played the Friends theme song and Jennifer's reaction were like the cherry on top of a good movie

you know what not too many comedy movies interest me nowadays We are the millers looked legitimately funny to me from the commercial ill check it out and post up
