Congo. Love this movie. Makes me look at animal lovers like they crazy though. How you have a talking gorilla and struggling for money? And I always scratched my head how nobody made a big deal about the tribe that apparently deals in phoenix down. Missed the chance to make JDB a real villain.

Ripper Street. 3-4 episodes. Got Bronn from Game of Thrones and Quinn from Spooks. Thought it was gonna be cheesy at first, like a period law and order, but its good.

Baby & Me. Good movie. Like a teenage Look Whos Talking minus Kirstie Alley and in Korea. No crazy taxi driving with baby free roaming in the back seat though.

(GRADE = C) Now believe it or not, I actually saw the original "Total Recall" on the Big Screen when I was ten. My parents let us watch a lot of stuff as kids cause we were smart enough to understand movies aren't real. Anyways, so of course the original is an Arnold Classic. Going in I was skeptical but I must say it wasn't a bad remake. The visual effects were really solid. The action was good too. Since the story is basically copied from the original you kinda know what's going to happen but they changed the concept slightly in this one. It's still average overall but again not bad. Colin Ferrell did ok but he's no Arnold. Beckensale and Biel did their thing also.

220px-Lawless_film_poster.jpg

(GRADE = B) This was a very solid film. It stars Shia Labouf and Tom Hardy as brothers in the early 1900's Virginia selling moonshine cause of Prohibition. The story takes a hard turn when a lawman from Chicago comes into to town and tries to shut them down. 1st I have to give Shia props, he was very good in this role. Tom Hardy of course was the man and he did a good job too. Guy Pierce was a really good villain. The violence was raw and you really felt like you were in the early 1900's. Overall I liked it.

220px-The_Flying_Swords_of_Dragon_Gate_poster.jpg

(GRADE = B) The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate is a martial arts epic starting Jet Li. This film was pretty good as it deals with a runaway prostitute and five different clans searching for a buried treasure at Dragon's Gate. The Martial Arts was dope and the effects were pretty good. It was subtitled but I enjoy watching foreign films in their original language. Overall pretty dope.

220px-Abraham_Lincoln_-_Vampire_Hunter_Poster.jpg

(GRADE = C) Going in I felt it was going to very cheesy but believe it or not it wasn't that bad. But it wasn't good either. The film shows Lincoln full life from childhood to young adult to President. The basically said a Vampire killed Lincoln's mother. He is then trained to be a vampire hunter. He hunts until he gets into politics and then he stop. I was fine with the whole thing until they started to mix slavery and politics in it. That's there the movie went wrong. Should of just been a concept where Lincoln was a vampire hunter in his youth before he was President. But to have him be a President and still hunting Vampires. Come on. Overall Benjamin Walker did pretty good as Lincoln but he was no Daniel Day Lewis. Anthony Mackie was decent. It's a rental for sure.

220px-Starship_Troopers_Invasion_poster.jpg

(GRADE = B) "Starship Troopers" is a Cult Sci-Fi Classic directed by Paul Vanhooven who did "Total Recall and Robocop". Well that film was great and I saw it while I was in High School. Sadly there was 2 direct to video sequels that just didn't live up to the original. Some animated series happen also as well as video games. But fans were wondering if the series will ever get back to how it started. This is where "Starship Troopers: Invasion" succeeds. It's actually computer japanese animation but it's still "R" which violence, nudity and profanity. It has all the main characters from the 1st film but now they are older. The action was on point and the animation was dope. Again it brought me back to part 1 but it was very good flick. It reminded me of "Aliens" by James Cameron which was influenced by the Starship Troopers novel.

finally saw the rebooted Spider-Man

thought it was wackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, heard a lot of good reviews but i wasnt feeling it...Give me the Tobey Maquire Spidermans'

Jus finished the series finale of "Six Feet Under". got damn!! whatta tear jerker. watched all 5 seasons over about 3 weeks.

certain parts about the series kinda annoyed me. but its got alotta heart. overall its a emontional rollercoaster, with maybe the best tv series finale ever.

SKYFALL (B - ) Sorry it was a little over-hyped. 1st the movie technically was great. The Director Sam Menedes of "American Beauty and Road to Perdition" is a good director no doubt. It was well acted for sure. The Problem I had was the story was very cliche. It was the typical "Revenge" story that has been done over and over again. The Villain was underused as well as the "Bond" girls. The Ending was very anti-climatic. It was a little too dramatic so the action wasn't there and spots. Also Bond didn't use enough gadgets. The movie also bit The Dark Knight in spots. Overall My grade is more for the technical side but the movie itself didn't "Wow" me like all the critics said it would.

watched this bs last nite. extra cosign the bolded. Javier Bardem's death was utter bullshit!

Grade B+

Pretty good action scenes, liked how to introduced the slow mo features to most of the crashes and falls. No particular great villain in this movie which is something that really made the other Die Hard films had. You spend the entire thinking about what the goal of villain is which doesn't come to fruition until the last 20 mins of the film. Bruce Willis was Bruce Willis but a lot older and the guy playing his son did a pretty good job. Would've liked it if they did more on elaborating about their past relationship.

Hara-Kiri. Great movie. Was expecting something crazy/nasty when "Miike Film" popped up at the beginning but this one surprised me. Suicide was tough to watch at the start though. Had me on that ned stark "they aint letting him go out like this" shit. Also.. smh@bodyguards going to the foot clan school of henchmening.

Ironclad. Editing ruined it. Cut it like a music video so you'd get some great action scene chopped up just to show some brutual kill shot. All the jumping around got annoying real fast. And it's hard to take Paul Giamatti serious as a king. Can't even recommend based just on the action.

Youngblood. Couldn't get into it since I wanted Youngblood dead as soon as he started disrespecting his momma. Didn't have to do shit but go to school and eat and he goes ahead and fucks it up. First part of the movie had about ten cheerleaders doing high kicks but instead he chases his rivals sister because she goes to a club with a apron on. Then he joins a gang that cleans up the streets by getting dealers down to their underwear and rubbing dirt on them. lol@kungfu in the middle of a street fight though. Shoulda cracked dude head with a pipe wrench for that buffoonery.

Miller's Crossing. Feel like I've heard how great this movie was for years. Watched it. Meh. Time better spent watching Yojimbo or Fistful of Dollars.

DIRECTOR'S CUT (GRADE - C+) In Honor of the 16th Anniversary of Big's death I popped in his Biopic and I must say it's not that bad at all. 1st any Biopic that covers someone whole life is going to leave stuff out and in this case the film didn't really focus on the artist and hip hop out at the time Big was around like NaS, Wu etc. But the film did focus on Big's childhood to teenager years to young adult to music star. It also had the love triangle between Biggie's 1st Baby Moms, Faith and Lil Kim. It showed Big's relationship with Pac in a positive and negative way.

It's hollywood so there were some glamorized things in it but overall I think this film served it's purpose of bringing Biggie to a new generation of fans. The music was great of course. Gravy did a great job in his 1st performance playing Biggie. Derrick Luke was a good Puff. Faith and Lil Kim's roles were ok also. Pac role was the weak link but he didn't have that Big of a part so Anthony couldn't really dig into the role. Angela Basset of course was good as Big's Mom. Overall it was cool seeing it and it's funny it's 4 years later and the movie is played on BET, MTV all the damn time. Dare I say Hood Classic? well the movie has a lot of fans cause there are many people out there who love Biggie. R.I.P.

Directed by the geezer who shot Oldboy, this is a thriller about family upheaval told in dark shade . .

Murder and to an extent, incest are strong themes

The most brilliant thing about this film, however is the photography; lush and riveting

A good watch . .

One word. Dope.

The pacing of this film is high-octane and its a Scandinavian film with a Hollywood remake I heard on the cards . .

Spoiler: There's a scene in the film that aptly describes the term 'in deep shit' . .
