watched Batman Begins last night.. holy shit that was a great movie, i hope they never reboot Batman and just forever keep this movie as the definitive origin.

Now you know this shit ain't happening. This is Hollywood we're talking about. Give it another ten more years or so and they'll release a new one.

I recently watched Middlemen,it was about the guys who invented putting porn on the internet as a subscription

based service and they get caught up with the Russian Mob. Pretty good movie,I also saw Spiderman,I like how

they showed how strong he is, and how quick he is when he dodged the cops bullets. That's something that the

previous movies didn't do a good job of displaying.

Grade (B): Wow can't believe it's been 20 years since this dropped. Like the original Batman, you have to give Burton his props, his 2 Batman films set the standard that Nolan would follow as far as keeping Batman Dark and mysterious. 1st Michelle killed it as Catwoman and stole the whole movie. Keaton is still my favorite Batman. I though Danny Devito was a good Penguin but very creepy. Overall it was a really good sequel, I remember seeing it on the Big Screen in 92, time really flies.

Just watched Fresh again...

Grade (A) A movie about a 12 year old hustler that had to figure out how to survive the streets. With the help of his father (Sam Jackson) he learned how to master the game of chess through life. Very good movie. I advised everyone to watch it more than once and to have your kids watch it.

Grade (B) - Well the Batman marathon continues. "Batman Begins" is a great retelling of the Legendary Hero. Nolan gets away from the colorful take of the last two terrible Batman's, "Forever and Batman and Robin" and brings Batman back to his core. I love how it showed he was trained by Ninja's and how he got all his weapons. It also introduced some new characters from the comics like Lucious Fox played by Morgan Freeman. Liam Neeson and Scarecrow were OK villain's not great but overall It was cool watching it again, it's an amazing chapter in the Batman Franchise.

GRADE (A) - 4 years later I can for sure say this is a Classic movie. Heath's performance was amazing, he really wasn't Heath Ledger anymore, he was the Joker. The two face storyline worked really well also. The only negatives was Bale's Batman voice which was terrible and why Keaton is still the best. And Maggie Gyllanhal replaing Katie Holmes. Besides that the movie is flawless. The opening Bank Scene. The Highway scene. The China Scene, The Interrogation scene. So many great scenes. I love this movie.

So my Batman Marathon is over. I saw the "The Dark Knight Rises" at Midnight Thursday so I will post my review here and in the Batman thread.

GRADE - (B) (THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY IS THE GREATEST COMIC BOOK TRILOGY EVER)

1st Let me start by saying I am upset and sad by the Theater shooting Tradegy, I got home midnight from watching the movie and heard the news. As someone who's gone to midnight Screening's since I was a teenager that could of happen to me and anyone. It's sad that sick fuck ruined such a great movie experience and changed lives. R.I.P. to those lost. With that said I really enjoyed the movie. It had it's flaws, yes but it was a really good movie. After "Superman III, TMNT III, Batman Forever, Blade Trinity, X-men 3, Spidey 3", Nolan did the impossible and break the Superhero Part III movie curse. The movie was spectacular.

Bane was so brutal. I can't put him over the Joker but it was just different performances. The Bane voice was menecing. When he broke Batman's back that was a Classic moment in comicbook film history. I have to say, I was very nervous about Anne's Catwoman so I went in with low expectations. But she did a very good job. She was a different style of Catwoman than Michelle. I still think Michelle's performance is more standout but Anne did just fine in the role. Her costume was ok for that setting. Joseph G. Levitt was great as Blake, aka "Robin". Even though Nolan and Bale swore up and down Robin would not appear in the series, it seems WB had the final say. Robin is a Legendary character so it would of been wrong to not included him some how. So the ending showing Blake finding the Batcave was Epic.

The movie was so emotional, Batman isn't really even it in a whole lot cause so much is going on. The last 45 minutes were Epic and closed out the trilogy perfectly. Batman faked his death. Alfred was not seeing shit, this wasn't inception people. Batman fixed the Auto-piolt and Jumped out before the explosion. Alfred seeing him at the end was Bruce way to let him know he put Batman behind him. The way it connected to Batman Begins was perfect. Again it just tied the trilogy up perfectly. I think it could of been 20 minutes shorter, I also think it could of been more Batman but the flaws don't outweight how great it was.

This was an amazing series and I suggest everyone check it out. I have to watch it again cause there is so much going on you won't get everything on 1st viewing. The Bat-plane was dope as well as the Bat-Cycle. Bane's Death was a little anti-climatic but he was still dope. The reviel of Goul's daughter was pretty good. The plot twist were crazy but Overall I'd still say TDK was the best, and Rises and Begins are Equal but this is again the greatest Comic book film Trilogy Ever.

TDK - A (Classic)

BB/TDKR - B

In the future it's possible that all 3 films will be looked at as Classics

THE MATRIX TRILOGY (The Matrix - A + Classic, Reloaded - B, Revolutions - C+)

Every now and again I pop in some Classic throwback movies and this weekend I decided to watch the entire Matrix Trilogy. I have to say, I enjoy this trilogy very much. The Effects and Action are top notch. The 3 main characters you love through the whole thing as you follow Morpheus, Trinity and Neo's journey. Of course the 1st one was revolutionary and Classic, still amazing till this day. The Sequels may get hate but they aren't bad movies at all. Reloaded goes very hard body and is one of the best action films ever. Revolutions was a little to dramatic but the Zion battle was crazy and the last fight in the rain with Smith was Epic. I have to give Keanu his props, his Martial Arts skills were so sharp in this, he really pulled it off especially in Reloaded. Overall it's a great trilogy and I really hope they do a Matrix 4 in 3D some day.
