also the reason why SHIT might hurts ur ears is not because of the beat, more likely the MIX

the beats were MULTI TRACKED when Dipset recorded over them

Asher Roth recorded over a MP3 (which was already mastered), so he couldnt mix his vocals to the beat to match all the right frequencies...

what is hurting ur ears is the fact that Asher Roths vocals are mixed poorly and also they probably threw a master on a already mastered beat....

this is why also Mixtapes sound wack quality wise compared to albums
