Not feeling the great white hero angle. Silver lining about these movies, the majority of the rest of the cast isn't white so at least they're getting work.

Lmfao these motherfuckers just can't help themselves

I gave up when they had Keanu reeves in 47 ronin and a full white cast for gods of egypt

Joint american and chinese production.

I know but like.........why?? I know the answer is obviously money but it would just never cross my mind to have a white person as the star in a movie about the great Wall of China lmao. If there's any martial arts element in this at all, the movie woulda sold off that alone.

I'm sorry gabi i have no answer for you.

Tom Cruise was the 'last' samurai remember.....

He was not. Ken Watanabe was.

Chinese make weird fictional stories with foreigners all the time, mostly hit or miss....saw this film with John Cusack as a roman general and Jackie Chan as a Silk road guardian (lol) which had some great action and scenery but ofcourse didnt make any historical sense...than there was this other film with Nicolas Cage as a knight that was straight trash...

Chinese are the Arabs money wise, matt damon probably getting paid 5 times the amount he got for the martian...
