Ross never went plat and 50 did more than 95k in his first week and his album atleast went gold. Those aren't good numbers no matter what you say for a establish nigga, and don't bring up no promo bullshit either because he was on 106 and park, has tv ads, was on CNN,etc.

This the same clown clowing 50 Cent album sales of his last album, so it's only right he gets clown. Game is done as a artist, he will be on Koch records in a few years.

The Documentary only went 2X platinum according to the RIAA and that was in 2005, His last album sold 600,000 in 2008 and this one is on pace to go Gold.

JayZ's "Hard Knock life" sold 5 million and His "Kingdom Come" sold 1 million so we can act like He flopped and should have done better numbers with KC or we can attribute the sales decline to the climate of the industry.

...besides I don't see any major fall-off in Games numbers compared to other artists.

Idk why everybody trippin' over how many copies this album sold ain't nobody doing numbers like they were doing 5 or 6 yrs ago the sales climate has seriously changed since then. If you're not Wayne, Em, Nikki, Kanye, Jay, or Drake most artists are not going to put up gold and platinum numbers period. Even though Game got a good album, lets face it him and 50 fucked up they own numbers beefin' 5 yrs straight but at least Game is still trying to remain relevant out of the two.

It may be safe to assume that your disdain for Game is due to his frequent disparaging remarks directed towards JayZ.

Game just released an album 1 week after the biggest and most anticipate HipHop album of the year "WTT" with HipHops two biggest stars JayZ and Kanye....and he out-sold them and oh Yeah LiL Wayne drops next week. Does Games release date look like an artist worried about big names??

Let's use logic: many artists can't even get a release date and if you are lucky enough to get one then nothing is stopping another artist from dropping on that same date or within a week of your release.

Many posters are frustrated because Hurrican-Game knocked JayZ and Kanye out of that top spot.

Wiz had a tremendous first-week but lot of it was due to "Black & Yellow" going 3x Plat.

I don't see Krit, Cole, or Wale doing big numbers like that but they are 3 of my fav artists of the moment.

I don't care about 50 Cent, his last album flopped.

Normal people with intelligence realize that once you go from 500 k to 100k you're flopping. When you go from selling 240k to 100k after your album has been pushed back multiple times we know it's a flop. If Ross sells 100k in his first week that's not a flop since he doesn't usually get stellar first week sales but he maintains a consistent pace over a long course unlike Game who will likely have a 60+% decrease in sales over the next week.

No, it's a flop based on who it is that is doing those numbers, don't blame it on the industry, Wayne is in the same industry and doesn't seem to be suffering from a 60% decline in first week sales in comparison to his last album.

Most G-Unit fans such as yourself seem to connect everything Game does with 50-cent which is why you mention his name in every Game thread.

I mentioned Emenim because he is the #1 seller in HipHop yet his last album didn't sell as much as his previous ones have...common sense.

Normal people with intelligence who have knowledge on HipHop matters and recognize what year this is wouldn't be ignorant enough to compare 500k in 2005 with 100k in 2011.....we are too smart to do that.

A person who can grasp mathematics would be able to discern that if Games last album in 2008 sold a total of 600,000 copies and his first week sales are 100,000 copies in 2011 it's not a 60% drop off.
