when they catch reverse flash Wells says "Detective Thawne, would you like to read him his rights?" he pauses slighty after he identifies Thawne letting RF know not to kill him - RF maybe didn't know how exactly his ancestor looked like.

Wells should be Eobard Thawne. He didn't kill Eddie because that's his ancestor. It looks like they combined the origins of Eobard Thawne and Hunter Zoloman. I assume that was Wally with Zoom when Barry was a kid. This episode was pretty good. Nice to see Firestorm and I believe they're going to play on the mind switch deal with him, which is interesting. I wonder who shares his mind?

Wally? What was he doing in the timeline and more importantly why didnt he handle Reverse Flash? How can Harrison Wells get information from the future? I saw the projected newspaper from the future.

It's just a theory but if that was indeed Wally, he wouldn't have been able to handle this version of Zoom either and those instances had to play out for Barry to become Flash. .If i'm not mistaken, in one timeline Barry travels to the future and defeats Thawne, but I believe that was retconned and it had Thawne travel back in time and get beaten by Wally. In the end of the show when Wells attaches that machine to the suit, that falls in line with Thawne's original origin. He found Barry's suit and used a device to amplify the speed, which caused the colors on the suit to reverse. I'm sure Broddie would be able to clarify. If Wells is indeed Eobard Thawne, he's from the future and is just using some future tech that he was able to bring back with him. It could be a complete misdirection and Wells is just working with RF.

Let me break this down and see if I got this:

Future Wells came back in time to steal the tachyon device to insure he gets his powers to become Reverse Flash. He beats himself down to throw anyone off the scent that the two are one in the same.

Barry's lightning strike is him at peak performance racing back through time to give himself his powers.

The holes of course are how did they both become empowered in the first place?

The point where the viewer/reader always comes in at makes the power seem natural or accidental, but we eventually come to know Barry specifically becomes the Flash because he makes himself The Flash... so who made the Barry that makes the Barry we see The Flash?

In the show, we've met Wells's Future Self because he just gave his present self the device to get his powers. Future Barry sacrificed himself to make sure Present Day Barry becomes The Flash, so he isn't out there running around.

What I'm asking is when does Flash fight both Reverse Flash's or is Wells going to sit on this power until his Future Self catches the L?

If yall could add one more hero from DC as a TV show for the shared universe who would yall choose? Batman is off limits

I would choose nightwing or green lantern

My friend told me a greenlantern show may be coming at some point to add to the cw universe thing but just a rumor for now. They already dropped Ferris airspace by name and Barry ran there when he first got his superspeed and if they really wnated to broaden the universe what better way then him. Besides Supergirl he'd be the only other hero that deals with alien type stuff.

night wing would be awesome.....as would cyborg......

i think wonder woman or aqua man while essential justice league characters live in a world of far too much magic and mythology to be a good tv show..

green lantern would damn near be star trek....

Just got caught up on the last two episodes. They have been my favorite so far. Now I definitely gotta watch Arrow, just gotta catch up on the previous seasons. I think I can squeeze it in somewhere in my rotation.

Smh, Iris getting thirstier and thirstier. Drooling over that nigga Oliver. I wonder we'll they bring him back to help catch Reverse Flash.

And o girls bf being still alive is another dope story line. This is just a dope ass show period.

so barry pored his heart out and Iris response was to suprise him at the house after he gets off of work in the lap of her current bf?

Iris you whore

I was laughing my ass off when Wells was getting rag dolled by Zoom
