"Flashpoint" is an American comic book crossover story arc published by DC Comics. Consisting of an eponymous core limited series and a number of tie-in titles, the storyline premiered in May 2011. The core miniseries was written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kubert. In its conclusion, the series radically changes the status quo for DC Universe leading into the publisher's 2011 relaunch, The New 52.
Flashpoint details an altered DC Universe in which only Barry Allen, Kid Flash and Booster Gold seem to be aware of significant differences between the regular timeline and the altered one, including Cyborg's place as the world's quintessential hero, Superman's detention by the government and a Thomas Wayne version of Batman who spends "his days running Wayne Casinos."[1]
Consisting of a five-issue run, the series crossed over with Booster Gold, sixteen separate three-issue miniseries, and a number of one-shots beginning in June 2011.[2] DC announced that Flash #12 would be the last in the series; a thirteenth issue had been announced for sale on May 25, 2011, but was withdrawn.[3]

I always maintain that I don't mind changes in the source material as long as the dirty told is still decent. And do far it looks that the story here is great.
Nice seeing Oliver being nothing but absolutely awesome in everything he does......even inspiring a much stronger hero.....Lol he has no idea ra`s is coming
Actually I don't think it's a twist....it makes perfect sense if this theory I have holds up. If that is the future Thawne, then something happens in the past to make the Thawnes in that present time hate the Allens/West...then that grudge carries over to the future and thus insures the origins of the Flash by that "accident" ......
