I actually love the Dynasty Album.

I play more than The Blueprint album.

But with touchy feelings aside Blueprint is a better album.

Black album and maybe the dynasty could song for song for 75% of BP fuck with blueprint here and there but American Gangsta, not so much homey and Reasonable Doubt definately not with half of that albums beats being boring and dated

Blueprint is the only album really by him i can play all the way thru without having to reach for the fast forward button for atleast one or two joints. Even the black album which i love, i have to skip "Change cloths" which knocked a classic album into 4 1/2 mic statue to me

Black album > blueprint.

unpopular opinion but Dec 04 is my shit. although Change Clothes and Justify my thug were garbage

On second thought Blueprint > Black album.

Had to work it out on paper like long division.

Black Album so overrated.

Blueprint is Jay culmination. Everything came together perfect. Only one song wasn't hot. The only Jay album that can match it in quality is Volume 1 from an objective standpoint. I liked AG but Jay had clearly lost a step by that time. Production carried it more than vocals.

It was just an influential game-changing album.... Niggas still craving those soul samples to til day

Is that it? Niggas lack of history makes people overrate shit?

RZA/Eric Sermon/Heatmakerz had been doing the same beats since they came out. Don't sit there and act like people hadn't heard production like that when that was those guys m.o.'s production wise.

Game changing how? Production wise? That's it? What other thing did it change? If it's cuz of the production then like i said that was already around. Also, i think you're confusing it cuz you heard Kanye blow up after with production like that years later, which is why i said in hind-sight. What other thing did it change? LOL @ this. It all comes down to the album having high charted singles & doing numbers which makes yall remember the time yall first heard the album. Doesnt make it classic or game changing tho.

Heatmakerz were around since the late 90's, so was Kanye & of course you know about Eric Sermon & RZA. So because they started to blow up after BP you think BP had it's effect on the game when Kanye produced on BP & Heatmakerz had already been around for years with that production.

So the album was game changing cuz of soul samples? How dumb does that sound? It's one thing if he was a producer but Jay-Z is an MC. So BP is better than the albums i mentioned cuz of its "game changing production"? Which it really even wasnt? SMH.

I expected better arguments tbh. Seems like i was right.

1 song = knows an albums classic album? D

Do ya niggas truly know what a classic album is? I seriously doubt it.

But btw, you can play Jigga That Nigga? Like i already said this is the album were Jay-Z's lyricism took a leap down in turn for song writing which is why you like it. Had melodic singles, high charted singles, did numbers so OF COURSE you gonna play it all the way thru. Every time you listen to the album u can remember when you first heard the singles & the album right? Lol like i said i knew i was right. Doesnt make the album better tho. Doesnt make the lyricism better.

What's funny is that some of yall are the same ones not calling It Was Written & Stillmatic classics but BP is cuz of it's "production"? So is that why ya also downplay Get Rich Or Die Tryin, i mean it had banging production & REALLY changed the game (unlike BP) but alot of mofos say it aint classic cuz 50 didnt spit hot lyrics..LOL wow smh.

No consistancy at all with yall. Just pick & choose..

Disagree. BP had and still has a feeling around it that is just great. Jay felt so confident and sounded reinvigorated. Every song flows wonderfully and no song is weak imo

he said 3 or 4 songs kept volume 1 from being a classic

idk about classic, but there were a few songs that didnt need to be on the album
