This classic album was released 8 months after the classic double album all eyes on me. That's amazing when you think about it, 2 classics in one year! 2pac rasied the bar that much higher with this album. A top 10 hip hop album imo. I love how the first 5 songs flow together. Some of 2pac greatest work is on this album (Blashemy, me & my girlfriend, hold ya head, krazy, against all odds, ect.).

i dont dislike it but i dont share this level of enthusiasm. i think i have out grown the album. what i enjoyed the most was the production ad the sound quality. it has a rough sound like it wasnt mastered. in a way ii can say that i dont get the album. like whats the point of hail mary and blasphemy? i'm not too fond of krazy or toss it up either and to live and die in la is just okay.the outlawz did their thing and by having those east coast heads with him he was able to position his self well in the east vs west thing. it was a militaristic move. everyone went crazy when they heard against all odds. he had just dies and the album came out so to hear him talking like that was something else. i love the way he made puffy change his name after the song dropped. didn't jack change his name too? lol thats power! lol i was surprised to find out that tupac intended for this to be a mixtape just for the streets. all eyes on my was still kinda hot when this dropped and the makeveli records was on the streets plus pac had 4 tracks on the gang related soundtrack. he ways iller than lil wayne on speed!

one of the reasons this album didnt get the attention other pac posthumously released albums got was it was put out on death row. this was death row released and his other albums were afeni and interscope released. at that point in time they were really trying hard to end suge and death row. which they did when suge got 8 years.

Real talk, and im not one of these 2pac stans, but:

I cant even compare songs like 'White Mans World', 'Krazy', and 'Hold ya Head' to other songs/albums

Shyt is more than a song, and this album to me cant be compared to, say, The Blueprint...Its almost like a whole nother genre.

Shyt is, no pun intended, deeper than rap.

I bang this album once a week and Me Against The World once a month.

Thug Life Vol.1 is the one I bang the most, love that album and AEOM gets played like every other month.

Pac and Michael Jackson stay playing in my car every week, that is my two favorite artists.

arguably the greatest hip hop album of all time. my personal favorite is strictly for my niggas, but you have to agree Pac dropped three classics in a row with me against the world, all eyez on me, and makaveli.
