This is tough, I think I'll take The Documentary right now but GKMC is definitely a solid album. Name drops aside Game put together a good project, with 50's hand in it or not.

Im goin wit the Documentary

how can a nigga listen to Higher, church for thugs, put u on to game, westside story, and if you dont know and not be convinced thats one of the better westcoast joints in the last twn years. I like Maad city and K. Dot may be the better spitter of the two but ima street type nigga so I like the subject matter on Game shot better and the beats is definately better

church for thugs beat, higer beat and westside story beat >>>>>> any beat on Kendrics joint

everything else on both albums may be a wash

tbh i didnt even really like 'good kid maad city', some of his older k.dot and 'compton state of mind' mixtapes where dope, but 'the documentary' is much better... kendrick is maad overrated...

I don't think he's overrated, the kid got mad skills

But the GKMC (concept) was something Kendrick had to do

His second album, that's going to be his biggest challenge IMO

And to be honest, I expect a whole lot more from his 2nd then his 1st

(more West Coast-ish and Dre-ish)...GKMC did had some very dope tracks

But his sophomore album needs to top that, and I think he can do that, time will tell

GKMC is better as far as Kendrick's rapper

Documentary has better production though IMO (not that GKMC's is bad)

Kendrick over some of that Documentary production would've been siiiick

so basically this is 50 Cent vs. Kendrick Lamar

Niggas writes two hooks for the albumand automatically its 50's? How come 50 couldnt write a classic for Yayo and Banks then? The shits a westcoast perspective album son so I cant see 50 mastering the lango, gangster culture, and westcoast stamp of approval to write all them shits, Nigga aint that dialed in out here

thing is though hes been around for years, now dre and few others co-sign him hes the next coming of jay, nas, dre and pac all rolled into one lol i thought the album was weak, yeah theres few cleaver meanings behind some of the gkmc tracks, but i still thought the album was weak and bit of a let down...

hes not all that, i find his new flow boring, hes not wack, but hes nothing special either though imo... hes like a mix drake and wayne, abit better then them but still thats not saying much lol

hes a gimmick, i preferred his music in the k.dot days...

Gkmc. Take away the beats on documentary and game was spitting ass on a lot of this tracks. All that name dropping and the references he was using are not even relavent today. It was a standard g-unit album.
