The same role he played on every team he was on (Pistons,Spurs etc.) He knew his role and he played it. When I say role player I am talkin bout dudes that have a major job to do and that is what they are gonna do. Guys like Cooper. Play defense and be on the wing when Magic runs the break. Guys like Vinnie Johnson. Come off the bench and give the Pistons instant offense. Guys like Bobby Jones. Play defense and hit the boards. Rodman was employed to get boards and play defense.
