As a DJ i gotta put DJ Jazzy Jeff up there with KOOL HERC, AFRIKA BAMBATTA, GRANDMASTER FLASH & GRANDWIZZARD THEODRE as being an innovator in the artforrm and his DJING skills being innovative as a mover and shaker he's right behind GRANDMASTER FLASH and GRANDWIZZARD THEODRE. JAZZY JEFF WITH DJ CASH MONEY (YOUNGINS GET YOUR HIP-HOP KNOWLEDGE UP) put philly on the map

As a producer what more can i say he produced classic albums with the fresh prince, Jill Scott. The brother is straight soulful he is in the group with Pete Rock, J Dilla, Q-tip.

i mean the dude inspired Q-BERT!!! the illest turntablist on the planet. Put Jazzy Jeff and the hall of fame and support his music

How apt, Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince threads appear just when I decide to give their third group album a spin. (And in This Corner...)

Jazzy Jeff deserves mad respect as does the Fresh Prince. Legends in the game and I don't care what anyone says. Their discography is very good and Jazzy Jeff might be the best on the turntables. Though give Mr. Mixx a try on youtube, he's hella sick too!

Respect, I gotta agree with you. Jazzy is up there with his contributions Hip Hop and turntablism.

I've got a DJ Jazzy Jeff CD the one with the Rhymfest on it where he does that song about how it hurts when he pees. Good song, good CD

YO lol, i think we one of the last ones left on this forum (some left to okay tryin to be a zealot, lol) that really have love and knowledge of the whole culture of hip-hop, i might be showin my age a little but im going to be just like you hitting them in the head.

and back to DJ JAZZY JEFF his touch of jazz production team and studio produced lots of classic stuff that's where Bilial, Jill Scott got their start and he produced Jill classic first album
