might as well ban pro wrestling bruh. 90% of the moves are dangerous for children and those idiots suing wwe are acting like they got trained thinking the ring was a mattress. like u said "they can't protect guys from everything concussions and broken necks are just a fact of the business". so they can ban moves all they want, when a better solution may be lessening amount of days on the road so these niggas dont get sick and shit and develop chronic injuries. either way, these niggas knew what they signed up for. as long as seth or anyone else isnt being wreckless its all good. people never complain about moves like the flipping pile driver or moneymaker, but wwe's image is too soft for the curb stomp...smh

A limited schedule didn't help the guys AJ injured with the Styles Clash. You can't eliminate danger but you limit it.

If you want barbarity you can watch CZW where people are blowing themselves up, hitting each other with light fixtures and all types of nonsense.

Now that's extreme sure but danger has a range and a level of necessity. Now while I don't think the curb stomp exceeds that, I understand it.

WWE is a corporate entity and this is just one of those things they have to do to protect themselves from frivolous litigation. *shrugs*

An ounce of prevention >> a pound of cure.

What sense does it make to ban a move after someone is injured? That's like ignoring the danger of the move. It's negligent, once again they are a corporation.

It's a kick to head & neck essentially. They could modify it to him stomping the BACK which would probably be preferred, but a foot to the neck probably isn't necessary nor does it change Rollins ability to perform.

theres danger in pretty much every move except maybe an irish whip and im not looking for barbarity, just wishing world wrestling entertainment would stop tryna become world entertainment lol. i get they gotta protect themselves but how much protection can banning the curb stomp do when on the next show cena takes a ddt and lands on his head, or swagger or miz take another unprotected trouble in paradise, or what if bray hits somebody with that cross body wrong? there are worse moves/situations than the curb stomp. hell a miscalculation on a phoenix splash could end a career. i agree with bolded but wwe has illogically done it and it is at the expense of they product ever since the pg era started. like u say danger has a range and level of necessity. imo neither the curb stomp, blood, or properly protected chair shots exceed that and u can protect in either of those situations. idk mane im just not seeing the justification

Cena is inept most times. He hurt himself doing a hip toss, I wouldn't exactly use him as a good example.

I think it's an unnecessary banning but I see their reasoning.

You don't want some idiot 10 years from now blaming WWE for moves they took willingly. 98-99% of the guys Rollins will work with are functional at least and can probably take the move safe but all it really takes is 1...

And you have:

To be honest, I don't blame WWE much. I blame guys who come back after a time and claim that nobody was looking for them and let them take dangerous moves. Assholes like Vito for instance.

I don't think so. It's a preemptive strike based primarily on them being sued a lot lately.

Freak accidents are actually much better than repeated damage with no after effects.

It's just like when a boxer gets punch drunk. It's not because they got KO'd a lot, it's because of the repeated punches to the head.

I assume that is why they got rid of Ambrose's Dirty Deeds.

Fact is, it was a terrible looking finisher and most likely they received complaints about the move and simply nipped the situation in the bud. However, the theatrics of that move for it to work is just awful.

The new DDT-like finisher he has will suffice for now.
