We was born to mothers who couldn't deal with us

Left by fathers who wouldn't build with us

I had both mine home, let's keep it real niggas

My better half chose the better path, applaude him

Younger brother me a spoiled child, I fought him

That was a great story. As far as how they were brought up...they told the story of being middle class kids who sold not because they had to but because they wanted to in a XXL magazine interview back before N. Malice conversion.

Man, great piece. A lot of my college buddies are from VA beach. Thats how it is there, thats a black middle class haven, real nice area. But its close enough to hood areas like Newport News and Norfolk, so the VA Beach kids sometimes gravitate toward that more grimey life just b/c

This is a great interview. That part when they were talking to malice about him selling drugs to this lady and it was food money for her kids got me. He talked about that in that "I'm not you" song. That damn verse gives me the chills everytime I hear it lol.

I knew these guys were frauds during their Clipse/Re-up days.

I know right. People wanna act like their manager was leading a $10 million drug ring, so they must have been involved and a part of it, i guess Game was a part of jimmy henchman's stuff to.

The ones who are always talking about it and glamorizing it are usually the ones lying about it.

one of the best duos of all time i can think of other than outkast.. would b dope if they did another album together on some eminem/dr. dre- Guilty Conscience type shit to show both sides of the game. the conflict

Wait, what? They're not frauds, they just didnt have that 'sellin dope out of hopelessness' upbringing.

They not the only ones. People of good upbringing grow to be aint-shyt teens/adults everyday. Thats like sayin a trust fund baby or celebrity kid who ends up doin heroin is a fruad Lol

And their manager was very much the real deal. He and most of their 'connects' were from Norfolk tho. 30 minutes away. Thats the grimey area.

i have a lot more respect for people who hustle by choice....those who do it cause they have no choice are just stuck and need to survive that dont make them real hustlers and usually they hate their situation and become snitches and end up frustrated in jail... those who do it by choice tought about it in an intelligent way cause they want the FINER things. those who do it to put food on the table are just victims of the ghetto....those who do it by choice have real hustler genes

the victims thinks `he has no choice when in reality he does... get it ?

the real hustler just dont like the concept of working all day for a weak salary and usually has a plan

Dang man, Pusha cant find anything better to rap about for the sake of getting the group back together? Im sure they could find some middle ground like an offset of the good verses the bad or something...

Good watch tho, pretty average up bringing... doesnt really make their story less believable
