Do we have to get into this argument again of how T.I. did nothing new with Trap Muzik, but give the mainstream a new word? Trap or Die & TM101 opened the door for trap artist not no T.I. or Trap Muzik

Not too many intelligent fans regard TI as the "creator of the Trap sound". He more so put it on in the mainstream, therefore giving the record labels the "ok" to sign the Jeezy's and Gucci's.

LA Reid admitted that he was worried about it not going well with the masses, which is why he dropped TI after Im Serious didnt do well. Then later admitted to being wrong for dropping him and signing Jeezy.

Are you hearing what you saying? TRAP Muzik... he made the phrase and the genre popular, but did nothing for the genre? If it wasn't for that, Jeezy would've been another crunk artist, word to Scrappy.

And for the record, the word trap existed way before Tip. And you had other artists you can now consider earlier trap rappers. But if it wasn't for TI and Trap Muzik, them artists, including Jeezy, would've been just regular drug dealing rappers.

Let's not act like P didn't sell millions of records doing the same shit years before. Like I said before, T.I. introduced a word to the mainstream, but Jeezy made the trap movement what it became. Nobody was on no trap shit when T.I. dropped, but Jeezy, and being that they from the same city the "trap" was nothing new to him. Everybody followed suit after Jeezy and Shawty Redd did that shit

Macon and Atlanta have nothing in common other then being in the State. Savannah>>Macon

That being said, TI was the one hanging out with the cats who really started the Trap shit. Dungeon Family

I wasnt really trying to make a point out of it, homie said they were from the same city. Just sayin

King is better than anything than jeezy has made but i went with jeezy because he hasnt made a wack album yet whereas Tip has. jeezy has made a few commercial songs but no overall commercial albums whereas paper trail had like 8 of them joints. in a catalogue battle sometimes the better rapper loses
