Campbell should be ready for this week's game against the Titans. Grad hurt his pec while weightlifting in the offseason workout program, like a week before the draft, and they decided to get Campbell instead of taking the wait and see approach.
They pretended like there was a competition for the job, but Grad was hurt until the 3rd Pre-season game so they named Campbell the starter by default like they had been wanting to do since we traded for him. They were talkin' about Grad getting cut before he sonned the 9ers and Seahawks in the last 2 pre-season games, so now if Campbell ever goes down, we'll still have a great QB in Grad.

I believe he lost the starting job once ... to Kurt Warner and never got it back. Whishenhunt never liked him nor did he ever give him a chance as a starter. Even when Leinart was starting he would still put in Warner if he had a bad qtr or half.
Leinart only really started his rookie season and was pretty good imo but that was with Dennis Green they fired him after that year.

leinart is scared to make the risky throws thats why the zona coach didnt want him anymore....he was so used to settling in college(that little dump off pass to bush that went for like 20-40 yards) that he never developed a good enough work ethic to transition...he needs to go to the seahawks where the coach will have confidence in him
