Maybe it is the realization that many of these service men/women know they are fighting and killing for an unrighteous cause that has led to an unprecedented rise in mental illness in the military. The scale of carnage and death in Iraq and Afghanistan are dwarfed in comparison to many wars in the past. Soldiers back then knew they were or at least were led to believe they were fighting to end tyranny.

War is not righteous.

Its a game of resources and protecting interests of said country anyone that says otherwise has there head too far up there country's ass.

Once again you do not need to join the military to find a job.Everybody I know with a job is not in the military.If you qualify IE have a degree in say the IT field then finding a job is easy.Or you could drive a Bus because they stay hiring here in Bmore or become a CO which are also always hiring.Social Services needs a lot of people right now so nigs could go work for them.If you mean fixing planes or working at a base then cool,but going out into combat ...no.

Anyway...I'm thinkin bout joinin the National Guard next fall, when I'm off probation, and have my Associate's degree...Far as I'm concerned, the Guard sounds like the best branch to me, cause the chances of me havin to get into some real shit would be slim to none...And I've talked to recruiters from the Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force...

But yeah, all my people who have gone into service came back wit stories and scars...

there was a program going on where folks could skip jail sentences if they enlisted in the military i think mostly the Army did that shit dont know if that still is going on.......muthafuckas was straight criminals defending this country.........

i was active duty Navy for 11 yrs dont regret joining, i wasnt no fuck up or couldnt find something else to do and i wasnt scared to get the fuck out the service like some folks who get brainwashed were...........

but shit the military is a reflection of people from all walks of life, rich,poor, black,white, asian whatever doesnt surprise me to see shit like this, there are plenty of other fucked up shit military members do that doesnt even get put on the news, trust me on that ive seen and heard............
