2 suggestions; use performance tracks and get better beats.

Brother Eye/I I appreciate the suggestions, but I will have to interject. It's an open mic at a dive bar, folks are more impressed with the fact that I don't use any backing tracks and it's just me up there(white dude actually asked me one time how can I remember all those lyrics?*shrugs*)....and my beats are fine. Shout out to Dj Charlie White and Khayree. I got invited to be a feature performance there by the owner. This shall be a challenge, but I will take your spirit with me Irony. Don't be discouraged by the pics either brother. I like the smothered turkey leg. Can I get a smothered turkey leg? I want a smothered turkey leg.

Homie, it doesn't matter where you are performing.

You want to sound the BEST you can. Use a backing track, man...at least something that has your hooks at minimum.

One reason I don't use backing tracks is because where I perform a lot of bands perform too. They don't use backing tracks so if someone effs up, we know. there's nothing to grab onto and keep rocking the song. like the bartender told me one time. its kinda like using peds. if I eff up, I have to fix it on the fly. its like an added level of respect kinda thing
