Montgomery been solid vs every team BUT the brewers this season.Cards are like jason voorhies they won't die fuck man

Worst case scenario happened this weekend, but the cubs needed this wake up call or maybe they just aren't that good

nl central lead went from 5 games to 2 over the brewers & cards :# cards come to wrigley next weekend then it's cubs @ brewers for 4 then @ cards for 4 sept 21-28 shit just got real.

I've been skeptical of the cubs all season.Plus they've had a lot of injuries contreras,russell,heyward,zobrist,lester,arrieta,hendricks,uehara all been on the dl,bryant having a down year offensively.They aren't as good as the '15 or '16 cubs teams were.They've been mad inconsistent but it's about getting to october.They got sonned this weekend maybe it will light a fire under them or maddon needs his stupid sesame street zoo day or to bring the magician in like they're kindergartners to get them going.

What the dodgers doing is unprecedented they were on track for the all time wins record and have lost 15 out 16 and this would be the longest losing streak of any champ ever.

That being said it's about getting to october.The A's won 20 games in a row in '02 and lost in the alds how you play in october is what matters

red sox and yankees traded to increase their international pool money

both teams can offer a maximum of 8.3 million

8 other teams can deal up to 5.75 million but 3 of those teams have exceeded their pools from a year ago so they cant sign him

im almost certain he ends up on the yankees or red sox now (rangers a dark horse) because not only can they offer him the most money but if hes leaving 100s of millions on the table to come over a year early hed be crazy not to go to an a.l team to highlight all of his talents
