lol the always humble ricky henderson (i had no idea he was on second)

but its not as bad as when ray lewis took credit for jacoby jones kick return TD in the superbowl vs 49ers

ray was saying after the game how he didnt want to take credit and how he was gonna let jacoby tell the story only for ray to tell the story and take credit for it anyway (he said god told him to touch jacoby so he touched him)

@ckfree

Which one of these hitters would you fear the most in a tie game bases loaded bottom of the 9th?

Joey Votto

Paul Goldschmidt

Daniel Murphy

Votto and Murphy can hit lefties just as good as righties all 3 have power, good eyes, rarely chase and draw walks.

Not buying the cubs this year, they beat up on bad teams but struggle vs good ones. They went 2-4 at home vs the dbacks and nationals(no strasburg, turner, schzrer, gonzalez) they suck with risp.

Hopefully I'm wrong cuz it only matters how you play in october(if they even get there) but this team has some glaring flaws.I honestly think this the dodgers year

The positive is willson contreras is having a breakout season

edwards has lost it

im sure he will find it again

but you just cant trust him in one run games

after that game goldschimdt had against Q its hard to pick against him but give me votto in a bases loaded situation because he might be the most patient batter in baseball as well as the smartest hitter

but in a non bases loaded risp situation give me goldschmidt

votto draws walks because he is INSANELY patient at the plate and knows the strike zone better than probably any player but i think he can be too patient to a fault on some frank thomas shit — frank would always say that a walk was as good as a hit -- he would take walks instead taking a more aggressive approach with risp

murphy would be third in either situation because they have more pop than him while being just as good as hitters

Yea and for some odd reason maddon keeps marching his ass out there with a man on or in high leverage situations. He got rocked today they was ALL lining him up.It could be mental or somethin mechanical his command been a problem for a minute.

But yea I rather see rondon out there over edwards right now.Davis too his last few appearances been way more difficult than they should be.

i honestly dont like joes bullpen management

never have

edwards has been bad since like the all star break

rondon had 1 bad game against stl but hadnt given up a run other than that in over a month

im all for showing confidence to pitchers but put edwards in a blowout game to work on confidence

the team needed that game more than cj needed that game
