Indians will be back they got a good squad they get carrasco,salazar(starting) and brantley back + the al central is weak & You got lebron who will most likely be in another finals in june.Indians were much tougher than I thought they'd be

but this all changed when the new owner took over the team and hired theo

funny what happens when you rebuild the correct way and hire people based on their skill rather than how long theyve been in the organization or who they know

I was tellin my boy last night the cubs HAD to win like that.Blow a 4 run lead in game 7 after being down 3-1 just to comeback in the 10th and take the lead back and close the game out.

It couldn't be no other way.No cruising to the title they had to test the fans one more time but the difference is this team has heart and they persevered no choking like the past teams

Kind of like the red sox in '04 vs the yankees

Do black MLB Chicago fans fuck with the Cubs? I mean all week they kept saying this will be the first championship for Chicago, the city not the team, in 70 years, but didn't the white Sox win in 2005? I don't remember it being this hype for them and they hadn't won in like a 100 years at the time.

Yes I'm black,an mlb head and been a cubs fan since I was a shorty and I personally know several black folks who are cubs fans in chicago and the white sox are a forgettable franchise people forgot they won in 2005 that's bad reporting by national outlets

and the cubs are a way more popular/liked etc than the white sox that's why

I remember a Cubs game I went to maybe 2 yrs ago...showed up a little after the game started and by the time we got to our seats Cubs were down 4. That stadium was still packed all the way to the end. All the years they sucked they would still sell out everyday.

Im a basketball fan first but that shit yesterday was the craziest game a fan of either team can go thru. Got so pissed when the game tied I was just gonna go sleep but I just waited.

Mann the city went nuts I wish I was out there experiencing it. I just heard fireworks, gunshots, horns and sirens all night lol and I wasnt even close to wrigleyville. just made it home from work on 2 hrs of sleep still feel high off that W.

Gonna try n make it to the parade tomorrow

with the cubs being so well positioned to win a few more in the coming years i will probably hate them lol

this was supposed to be the 1st year of the championship window

word though

it almost feels like you couldnt have written a better script for a huge cubs championship

old cubs teams wouldve folded every time

this team overcame the giants, dodgers and indians whenever they were backed into a wall

the biggest question mark for the cubs next season despite how great they were this season is the age of the starting rotation outside of kyle
