The only thing i could think of was he was gonna use arrieta in the 9th of game 7 , trusting him more than Chapman to close it out. Can't wait to see how this plays out. I expect pure drama.

but if you remember in 2008 when maddon managed the rays they were up 7-0 on the red sox in the alcs
