matt harvey to the DL

apparently hes seeing a vascular specialist

his shoulder was covered up but if thats what hes doing it could be connected with the blood clot he dealt with in ST either way its not good

structural shoulder issues are always bad news

just 3 years ago he was looking like a lock to win a cy young soon now hes overshadowed by syndergaard and degrom

he had a great year coming back from TJS last year but this year he looked like rick vaughn in major league 2

a bit too full of himself and losing velocity on everything

Pitching is too volatile.

Wheeler rehabbing a torn ucl

Syndergard bone spurs

Matz bone spurs(surgery possible)

Harvey all fucked up

De Grom velocity declined this season. If cespedes leaves this winter mets reign on the top will be short like leprechauns cuz their offense already sucks

word

thats why theo plan was to draft bats and avoid high draft pick pitchers

look back at how many pitchers get drafted to how many make the league

the risk/reward for pitching is very different than with batter/position players

and then theres injuries

It's like the cubs forgot how to play baseball, the starting pitching, bullpen and the offense all sucks.Rondon blew the save last night vs the sorry ass braves how you let nick markakis hit multiple hr's they said he hasn't done that in 8 years.

the dream of seeing a rotation of

harvey

degrom

syndergaard

matz

wheeler

perform together is becoming a more and more distant one

when you have 5 young pitchers like that expect 2 of them to be riddled with injuries

thats just the way it is with pitchers

i remember the orioles were suppose to have a cavalry of pitchers come up from the minors

tillman

arrieta

matsuz

britton

harvey

bundy

arrieta got traded for scraps

britton was a starting pitcher turned elite closer

tillman has been solid

bundy is a long reliever

matsuz was terrible

hunter harvey has been hit with injuries the last two seasons so hes up in the air right now

Cubs slumping hard.

Pirates went 6-20 before their hot streak.Cubs win today they'll still be up 7.5 heading into the all star break

the pitching has been awful and the cubs can't hit with risp which is starting to become an issue they strand way too many runners

Yup that's why I'm not in an worry. We still have a good lead as leader of the division and we are heading into AS break.

Folty was dominant against the white sox today. With all the pitching the braves have drafted over these past few years and currently, it's going to be fun to see how all these young pitchers turn out. Looks like they're trying to recreate a Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, Avery dominate rotation.

A big FUCK YOU goes to the Yankees. smh They punked us in this 4-game series, taking 3 of the 4 games. Our hitting is very inconsistent. Hopefully, we can get a big bat in the trading deadline.

1st place O's all 1st half of the season. If we can get our middle relievers right, might gotta shot. See yall kneegras in September.
