I'm steady seeing the cubs are scouting the yankees 3 bullpen pitchers.I think they're tryin to drive up the price for the comp(giants, nationals) I rather go after dolittle from the A's,probably gonna have to give up vogelbach, another prospect and candelario(he's the prospect I'd hate to lose the most). Outside one bad outing CJ Edwards been solid I hope he can stay up all year his fastball nasty

good call on doolittle

hed defintely cost a lot less and he can get lefties out better than miller

im thinking theo may hesitate to deal for a high caliber reliever after his eric gagne deal

he put together a package of 3 prospects to get him at the trade deadline and gagne flopped in boston

the 3 prospects didnt do much (daniel murphy was the only one who actually became a useful player)

but still

Word? I didn't know that, yea I'm open to that cuz the A's suck and theo & beane have done deals before my only concern is his health it seems kind of shaky

against lefties

miller .194 (31 at bats)

doolitle .152 (46 at bats)

miller definitely the more effective reliever of the two (by far) against righties though

i still wouldnt be opposed to a miller deal as long as

schwarber

contreras

baez

are off the table in trades

soler

amora

etc

id be cool with

I read the yankees wanted schwarber which is ridiculous for a relief pitcher.Schwarber is in a package that nets you a cost controlled TOR starter(gray, salazar, archer) not a relief pitcher that might pitch 65 innings a year. We'll see the cubs have to get a lefty reliever that can miss bats before august 1st as long as they get an effective one I'm good.I trust theo and co to get it done

theo mindset has seem to be stockpile cheap reclamation projects

thats how they added rodney and cahill who helped get the cubs to the playoffs last summer

it dont always work i.e rafael soriano but thats what i think he will most likely do this summer as well

theo too smart to get into a bidding war over a relief pitcher

Royals lost gordon, moustakas and just lost cain and still competing. All those al central teams winning simultaneously while the indians on a 13 game win streak and gained no ground at all.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/philli...-after-freak-training-accident-191741953.html

philly prospect matt imhof lost his right eye due to a freak training accident

a resistance band attached to the wall snapped and the metal piece came off the wall and hit his face

crushed his eye like a grape

and broke bones in his face too

just heard that yesterday was the 1st time in 40 years a team has opted to use a pitcher (bumgarner) instead of a dh

he started a 6 run rally

went 1 for 4 with a double

Indians with the bases loaded 1 out :o 13 game win streak on the line

Don't be like the cubs and strand them like they did last night in the 9th smdh

while the white sox have lost like 4 games during their current 7-3 stretch in the al central

they have gained 4 games on the #1 wild card spot in that time as well

fuck it

these indians now have the second best run differential in all of baseball
