just so disappointed because i was finally having fun watching the white sox again and now it feels like the past 5 years again

teams go through bad stretches but this is starting to get a little out of hand now

I was never buying the white sox. They overachieved in april then came crashing down to reality when they faced some good teams in may.Their pitching was great at 1st,realistically that wasn't sustainable and without that great pitching and with an offense that struggles to score runs you have an average team and their bullpen has been terrible if you take away the wins vs the sorry minnesota twins the white sox would be under .500.

7th inning and on

the white sox at one point had a 93.8% chance of winning fridays game

the white sox at one point had a 99.9% chance of winning saturdays game

the white sox at one point had an 88.4% chance of winning sundays game

the white sox won zero of these games

lmao

what the fuck

WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

whitesox in may

runs scored: 117

runs allowed: 115

difference: +2

record: 10-16

the most frustrating part during this stretch is that it is a different part of the team that lets down

first starting pitching

then middle of the order

then bottom of the order

now bullpen

its not just one thing

its like they are all taking turns at playing bad so its difficult to know what to fix

im probably being a homer, stupid or something but in my heart im still holding onto the hope that given how utterly absurd and ridiculous some of the losses and blown games and leads have been that this is some flukey stretch or something and things will eventually normalize -- this is an unsustainable level of bullshit and the other divisional front runners arent exactly juggernauts

ventura really testing the 'managers don't matter' theory by consistently sacrificing valuable abs at the 2 spot though

Indians hangin around without brantley & carrasco that's arguably their best offensive player and 2nd best pitcher both will be back soon.I think the indians will be there and the royals will fade cuz of injuries and suspect pitching.Cleveland is who they need to worry about,Not buying the tigers

on paper the indians do look tough

but kc got me shook

teams definitely make their own luck and the royals outlucking their opponent has really built into a narrative but i swear it seems so close to the truth

im not counting them out

kershaw has 102 strikeouts this season

hes also only given up 5 walks

thats a ridiculous 21-1 ratio

he is on a pace to nearly double the record

we may be looking at another one of the best single seasons ever pitched

Dodgers gotta find a way to win this series against the Cubs without Kershaw. They face Hammel ,Arrieta and then Lester and Hendricks. Giants got a comfortable lead and they are playing the Braves. (and losing so far today)

up 7-1 but i will be happy when the last out is made in the 9th inning and the white sox have more runs than the royals

last night game was very similar to the meltdown game in texas

and it was all robin ventura fault

smh

lol it's never over when you play KC
