Last year the mets won 12 in a row in April and had an 8 game lead on Washington at the beginning of May. Bout time July came around we was like 41/2 games back.

It's a long season homie. St. Louis & Pittsburgh ain't going away easy.

if theyre going to contend for a playoff spot with the likes of the

cubs

piarates

mets

and maybe even the cardinals theyre going to have to eat on the weaker teams on their schedule especially in that division -- theyre doing a good job of that so far -- they hit the road in late april to visit st louis, kc and wrigley for a 10 game trip -- their success against those contending teams will say a lot more about their playoff chances than a gaudy record through these first couple of weeks

bryce a real one though its like hes been around a long time, i even at some point in time thought he was overrated smh but hes about the same age as when kris bryant debuted last year
