rosenthal had an article about potential changes that could be made to the wild card round and one of the changes he discussed was going to the model they use in korea

their model is a two game series where the higher seed only needs to win one of the games to advance (and if its the first game the series ends)

but the lower seeded team must win both games

i still think its an inexplicable decision that he is not starting game 1 tomorrow because they had weeks to set their rotation

they fully planned for it to be this way

i know bauer has been one of the best pitchers in the league in the 2nd half of the season but i dont know and i never really trust weather reports this far out but it should be noted that right now there is a 60% chance of rain on friday during the day in cleveland and the game is slated for 5 pm — cleveland could be left with a debacle on their hands when they start kluber on friday and that game has rain delays

What was your hot take about the bulls?

i might be legitimately concerned about the potential of the bulls being greater than all odds makers suggest

too many young and hungry guys to not win over 30 games in the east

whooooole lot of pressure on the dodgers to take games 1 and 2 with greinke and ray likely waiting in games 3 and 4 in the desert — throw in the fact arizona is very comfortable against l.a having gone 11-8 this year (and i believe they won the last 6 games of the season series)

this is the dodgers worst nightmare but i think the dodgers will win it in 5 but its going to be one hell of a battle
